Namrata Shirodkar, the former actress and wife of Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu, celebrated her 53rd birthday on January 22, 2025. The day was filled with love and warm wishes from family, friends, and fans alike. Among those who extended their heartfelt greetings was Upasana Konidela, wife of actor Ram Charan, called Namrata "the most charming."
On Instagram Stories, Upasana wrote, 'Happy happy birthday, the most charming Namrata Shirodkar,' with a picture of them both.
Mahesh Babu marked the occasion with a touching message on social media. He posted a beautiful picture of Namrata set against a snowy backdrop, expressing his gratitude for her presence in his life. In his message, he referred to her as an "incredible woman" he wrote, "Happy Birthday, NSG! Thank you for making every day brighter and better. Celebrating the incredible woman you are today and always!".
Their daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni, also took to social media to share her love for her mother. She wrote, "I just love, love, love you, and I’m so lucky to call you mine. Wishing you the happiest birthday ever, Amma you deserve the world and more!"

Namrata Shirodkar first gained fame as a model and won the Miss India Universe title in 1993. She made her acting debut in the 1998 film 'Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai alongside' Salman Khan. After marrying Mahesh Babu in 2005, she stepped back from acting to focus on family life.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is set to star in 'SSMB 29', which will be directed by SS Rajamouli. Officially launched on January 2, 2025, the film is still in pre-production and is expected to begin shooting soon.
Described as a global adventure epic, 'SSMB 29' is rumoured to feature Mahesh Babu in a role inspired by Lord Hanuman from Hindu mythology. The story is expected to take inspiration from the Indiana Jones series.
