This decision comes as online protests calling for a ban on India’s Got Latent spill over to other platforms, with some netizens now targeting BhaDiPa for its so-called ‘filthy’ content.
BhaDiPa, founded by Sarang Sathaye, has built a reputation for producing humorous content featuring prominent Marathi film industry artists. However, with increasing criticism, some users have demanded action against Sathaye himself, accusing the channel of promoting inappropriate content. Addressing the situation, BhaDiPa issued an official statement on social media, announcing the postponement of Atishay Nirlajj Kande Pohe’s February 14 episode. Sathaye explained that the decision was made to protect both the talent and the audience from any unnecessary trouble. He humorously acknowledged the divisive nature of Valentine’s Day while assuring fans that the channel remains committed to its audience.
The statement also mentioned that refunds for the postponed episode would be processed within 15 days, encouraging fans to treat themselves instead.
