I went on the Grand Canyon trip led by people in Answers of Genesis, and joined in the development and management of the creation study section at ETS, along with Terry Mortensen from Answers in Genesis and others. Daryl Charles invited me into a symposium of five evangelical OT scholars held in Chattanooga, Tennessee, under the auspices of Bryan College. The publication that arose from this occasion is entitled Reading Genesis 1-2: An Evangelical Conversation, published in 2012.

This gave rise to the controversies between him and many of the Jewish teachers in his day, as testified to in the Gospels, and the ongoing debates over Jesus’s view of the law from the beginning of the church up to the present day. Jesus saw himself as a prophetic teacher of the law in line with the prophets in the Hebrew Bible, which is the reason he often emphasized his absolute commitment to the truth and ongoing application of “the law and the prophets” in the kingdom of heaven.

Recently, neoantigen cancer vaccines have been designed to train the patient's immune system to speci cally target and kill tumor cells. However, the safety and e cacy of neoantigen vaccines in pancreatic cancer treatment remain poorly understood. Methods: Personalized peptide neoantigen cancer vaccines were successfully designed and manufactured for pancreatic cancers with low tumor mutation burden. Seven patients with advanced pancreatic cancer refractory to standard treatments were enrolled and treated with personalized peptide neoantigen vaccine, iNeo-Vac-P01. Besides the evaluation of the safety and clinical e cacy of iNeo-Vac-P01, pre-and post-vaccination peripheral blood samples were collected to analyze the vaccine's immunogenicity. Results: For all 7 patients, none sever vaccine-related adverse effects was witnessed. The mean progression free survival, overall survival (OS) and OS associated with vaccine treatment were 3.1, 24.1 and 8.3 months, respectively. For Patient P01, who had a 21-month OS associated with vaccine treatment, the abundance of the TCR clone remarkably increased after vaccination, indicating the potential of iNeo-Vac-P01 to speci cally induce a subset of T cells to kill tumor cells. This study also demonstrated that the quantity of IFN-γ in peripheral blood might be a potential biomarker for OS. Conclusions: We believed that it was the rst tentative study focused in the application of peptide-based neoantigen cancer vaccine in advanced pancreatic cancer. Promisingly, personalized peptide neoantigen vaccine might provide a new strategy to improve the limited clinical e cacy for pancreatic cancer.

On this interpretation Jesus' offer of rest is an invitation to start a whole new way of life-a life characterized by rest with God working its way into the depths of one's soul by means of indwelling Spirit. This understanding of Jesus' offer of rest is developed in light of the immediate context in Matthew, parallel passages in Jeremiah and Sirach and a biblical theology of the fall.

These three themes have foundations in the Old Testament and run through into the New Testament for the Christian life. First there is the work of the Holy Spirit in the human spirit, occupying, empowering, and reshaping us and our lives from the inside out. Second, the Holy Spirit works to build us into local communities of faith in which he dwells and in which we have fellowship with one another. Third, the Holy Spirit makes us into prophets and prophetic communities that stand out in the world showing forth God's glory and attracting others to him. This biblical theology motivates the following definition of 'spiritual formation': the ministry through which we seek to stimulate and support the ongoing spiritually transforming work of the Holy Spirit in and through the personal lives, relationships, and ministries of genuine believers so that we all progressively become more conformed to the image of Christ according to the will of God the Father (Romans 8:26-30).
