Moero!! Robocon (燃えろ!!ロボコン, Moero!! Robokon, Burn!! Robocon) is a sequel of Ganbare!! Robocon. It joined Seijuu Sentai Gingaman before it got replaced with Kyukyu Sentai GoGoFive. It was replaced with Kamen Rider Kuuga after its finale aired.

Status as a "Metal Hero" series[]

While it is commonly known that there are only 17 Metal Hero series, Moerro!! Robocon gained some controversy after Superhero Taihen listed it with the other Metal Hero series. There is much evidence supporting it as the 18th Metal Hero series, such as the airing of the show (1999) being after Robotack, the last Metal Hero show, and Moerro!! Robocon sharing similarities to to previous Metal Hero series, Kabutack and Robotack, and its inclusion in the Double Heroes Stage Shows, which is usually only with Sentai Teams, Kamen Riders, and Metal Heroes. However, it can not be considered a Metal Hero series, due to the lack of Robocon featuring a fighting form (unless one consideres his bike form his "fighting" form), like Kabutack and Robotack.
