The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff. They provided clear directions to the nearest car park and made check-in a breeze. the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the surrounding area on foot. the room provided all the necessary amenities for a comfortable one-night stay.
Despite messaging the hotel about dietary requirements, they were not able to cater to them. the breakfast service was also slow, with a long wait time and an error in the order.

We had a fantastic time with our group of friends in this charming and historic town. The location of the hotel was perfect, allowing us to easily explore everything from the beautiful little castle to the stunning beach. The room we stayed in was full of character and the four poster bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfast each morning was delicious.
We were disappointed that there was no acknowledgment of our special occasion, despite informing the management beforehand.

The hotel had a cozy atmosphere with a spotlessly clean room. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the town, with easy access to transportation and parking. The hotel had a charming historical feel, taking you back to a time of horse and coaches and the Middle Ages.
Nothing to fault.

The location of the hotel was not ideal as it was situated down the hill in the rain, making it difficult to navigate. Furthermore, most establishments in the town seemed to shut early in the evenings, limiting the options for dining or entertainment. However, the hotel had a cozy outdoor dining area, perfect for enjoying a meal or a drink in good weather. The staff in the restaurant/bar were friendly and provided professional service.
The room we stayed in was a bit hot upon arrival, and despite opening the windows, it took some time to cool down.

As young holiday goers, we loved the historic charm of the hotel with its wooden beams and creaky floors. The Glover room had a cozy atmosphere, and the view of the cobbled street made us feel like we had traveled back in time. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the hotel's fascinating history, including the ghostly tales. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the hotel's location in the center of town was perfect for exploring.

What a wonderful Christmas experience! the hotel is full of history, and the rooms are well preserved. the hotel staff was thoughtful, providing us with complementary seasonal treats in the room, and the location was perfect for exploring the charming town. the breakfast was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We also appreciated being able to use the parking area provided by the hotel.
The service in the restaurant was subpar. Although the food was exceptional, we were left to pour our own wine without being asked if we needed anything else.
