Meet Ianto

My rat, Ianto. When her mother was pregnant with her I was watching Torchwood for the first time. Back then I though I won't keep all the babies (but in the end I did...) but will instead keep only one female of the litter and that female will be named Ianto.
So here she is. My baby. Ianto.

Mr. Jones' first name.

Is it pronounced properly as "Yanto" or "Ee-anto". Jack's got a lazy-ass American accent (as do I) so I don't trust his pronunciation and I can't remember one time where Ianto has said his own first name.

So, yeah, stupid question, but it bugs me.

character study

I've been working on a character study for Ianto for the past day or so and I finally managed to type up part 1 of 4 of it. It's a ton of text but lots of pictures (cause who doesn't like to look at Ianto). It also has elements of Jack/Ianto, to a secondary degree.

Why, we mods said to ourselves in-between cluthching each other in fannish joy, would Gwen know about a random Roman fort?

We decided that, knowing Chibbers, it was the first thing he found when he googled 'roman fort cardiff'.

I forgot to put up a Reaction Post up earlier becuase I was too busy making hot chocolate with Baileys in it.

I'm not going to put one up now because, after a brief look over torch_wood, it looks like the general opinion of Random Shoes was, pretty much, 'meh'.

However the mods would like to make it known that we thought it was an absolute corker. So rather than have thread full of people going 'omg that's 50 minutes of my life I want back', we're not going to bother.

You are still more than welcome to vent your opinion here, but for now, I'm going to bask in the warm glow I've been left with after that episode, perve at That Promo Shot until I go funny, drink some Baileys, and come back in ten to tell all you haters why you are wrong.
