Cataclysm - First Thoughts? I, for one, am loving the archaeology. Between the 11K XP per find and exploring one new area, I've gained half a level.
How about you? What are your first impressions of the expansion?

A heads up, if you haven't logged in yet today...
The big changes of Cataclysm have started. This includes the updated race-class options (not with the addition of Worgen and Goblin, obviously) and if you're a mage, now is a great time to rack up some money since the portals from Dalaran to the other cities are gone.
Two weeks until Cataclysm drops! Are YOU ready?

Ch-ch-ch-changes Big changes are happening in the World of WoW.
First up, obviously 4.0.1 loaded up today. HUGE patch, with tons of awesome changes, if I don't mind sayin' so. Thoughts/comments on the patch?
Then there's just Cataclysm itself launching in December. More cool new stuff rolling out with that (archaeology!).
But next week is Blizzcon! Are any of you going? If so, let's discuss a little meet-up before Tenacious D takes to the stage.
Back to shifting gold around so I can buy dual spec for my DK!

Is this tqc guild active on Moonrunner? My main guild fell apart because 10 of us wanted to clear Ulduar and our GM had a problem with us not bringing in second-stringers. I've been looking for a way to reboot my WoW interest and I'd transfer an alt over to run with this group.

Status check! Anything new and notable going down with your WoW playing?
Have you done the dual spec thing yet?
My main is about to ding 73, and I'm finally getting to play with the guild doing instances and raids. I'm working on keeping people alive, and for still being a n00b in that regard, I think my success rate is pretty good. Except for tonight, when all five of us died. And I just today learned how to fish. Hurrrr.
ALSO... on a modly note, check in here and tell me what servers you are on so I can add tags. Just in case this place ever gets active enough for people to go "hmm, I wonder if anyone is on [their] server..."

I quit playing Wog after BC because I just got bored with my druid. I retired her to pvp resto, which is amazingly amazing.

Does anyone have any tips for fishing? I picked the profession up because it was either that or kill Murlocs for a quest in Redridge, and I HATE Murlocs, so. I can't fish in the lake I need to until my skill is 55, though, and right now it's at... 4. I fail majorly, and really need some help here.
Any suggestions?
Also, can nobody else log into WoWArmory? Everytime I try, I get redirected to Blizzard.

Discussion Post What's your favorite race and/or class to play?
And what's your favorite trade and profession?
I'm partial to shamans (so... dranai) but I haven't found a profession or trade that makes me super happy. Mining is getting boring, and jewelcrafting seems pointless right now. I need some new ideas, especially since I'm just about ready to start those on my new WookieWife (Moonrunner).
