Employing secondary data from reliable government sources spanning the period 2000/01 to 2018/19, the research examines the relationship between remittances and key macroeconomic variables, including consumption, investment, imports, and Gross National Product (GNP). The study reveals a significant increase in remittances over the years, accompanied by growth in GNP, private consumption, government expenditure, imports, and disposable income. Using multiplier analysis, the study finds that a one-unit increase in remittances leads to a 0.89 unit increase in consumption, a 1.25 unit increase in imports, a 0.32 unit increase in investment, and a 2.14 unit increase in GNP. Multiple regression analysis confirms the positive and significant relationships between remittances and consumption, imports, and GNP. The findings underscore the crucial role of remittances in Nepal's economy and the potential for harnessing these inflows for sustainable economic development. However, the study also highlights the need for policymakers to recognize that while remittances provide short-term benefits, they should not be relied upon as a long-term solution for the country's economic challenges. The study contributes to the existing literature by comprehensively analyzing remittances' impact on Nepal's economy and offering valuable insights for policy formulation and future research.

It collected primary data from fresh graduates of Nepal’s leading universities to understand self-directed learning motivations and job search behavior. It focused on graduates enrolled in different job preparatory programs to improve their chances of securing employment in 2022. Using a five-point Likert scale, the survey covered general information, self-learning, and job-searching. The purposive sample field survey in Kathmandu Valley from July to December 2022 targeted 500 respondents and yielded 327 completed surveys for analysis. Data analysis shows a substantial correlation between self-directed learning and job-seeking among Nepalese young people (β = 0.877, CR = 18.203, p < 0.01). A substantial positive correlation was identified between self-monitoring, adaptability, and job-seeking activity (β = 0.927, p = 0.000). It aims to expand the domain of FWA practices among academia incorporating teachers considering job satisfaction as a crucial part of human resource management aspect. This research was based on the impact of flexible work arrangement factors and job satisfaction among 470 teachers who were engaged in their work according to the flexible work arrangement practices during COVID 19. Such engagement might be in job either electronically or physically changing the shift or time as per necessity. It provides empirical insights about how change is observed by the adaptation of flexible work arrangement upon satisfaction. Furthermore, it is found helpful to maintain satisfaction with the balance between work life and personal life. With the evidences, this paper finally contributes and implies academic institutions to consider their experience of FWA practices during COVID 19 and accordingly should revisit and observe the best flexible working pattern. However, such FWA should not mean deregulation, and the issue of flexibility must be treated as work- procedure, where the satisfaction and well-being of the employees are placed at the center.

The main purpose of this study is to examine impact of service quality on customer loyalty with the mediating effect of customer satisfaction. In order to collect data for analysis, 154 completely filled online questionnaires were collected. Four stepped method suggested by Baron and Kenny (1986) was used for examination of mediating effect of customer satisfaction. After testing the hypotheses using various techniques, it was found that service quality has significant positive impact on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The customer satisfaction partially mediates between service quality and customer loyalty. This research is useful for commercial banks so that they can improve service quality to the customers and thus maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. Similarly, the policy makers can also use this finding while formulating future plans ...
