First off all, I'd like to announce the introduction of the long awaited character, Vicki Lubya Connor. ^^ I'd also like to announce that we've resolved the Sin Eater Plot. So on the same day that they killed the Sin Eater, Neo's daughter was born. hee.

Also, I'd like to belatedly welcome boomerthemoose back! We're HOPING that kittle_uk will be back soon. However, no word yet from jazzbossanova. When are you gonna be back, yo?

08:32 pm - Okay, folks, we have a problem.

Now, I understand that all of you who aren't active right now have very good, valid reasons. In fact, I don't really have any right to complain at all.

But I call GM's prerogative.

I don't want any of you guys to feel guilty over what I'm about to say, becuase it's not your fault. If you start feeling guilty, I will track you down and kick your sorry little asses.

But we have a major plot problem.

Now, I had been planning the festival for the week of the 7th. I didn't want to run it during exams, so that way I'd have time and patience to study. Call me selfish, call me childish, call me Ishmael.. Sorry, too much Harvey Danger.

Anyawy, I find out on the 7th that Boomer is leaving for two weeks for Florida. I figure, okay, we can extend it to three weeks. And we'll avoid RPing the festival at all so as not to alienate him.

It's been two weeks, and then some, and I found out today that it could be up until like four or five weeks. The festival can't last that long, and even as long as it's already lasted is really, really pushing it.

So, I just wasted a perfectly good plotline.

Now, I could retcon the festival and start it over when everyone's back. But the Automatons were created at the festival for the express purpose of being showed off. And I can't and won't retcon the Automatons becuase they're Colin's characters and have already figured into several plots.

We could retcon the last three weeks, but that's a little extreme.

The only answer is for me to let my plot go to waste and wait until next year. And again, this is really selfish of me, but I really don't want to do that.

So please, bail me out guys. I need your help. I can't figure this out on my own, and I really hate the feeling of giving up and giving in.

Due to rehersals, dress rehersals, and the play itself, Breann has asked me to let everyone know that she will be unavailable for Nexus until at least Thursday or Friday. She sends her regrets, but it is a busy time for her and there are RL issues she has to take care of. I'll be passing this along to you all over IM as well, in case you don't see this message (which begs the question, if you don't see the message how will you know this? Oh well). Let's keep her in our thoughts over the next few days.

my internet has been being shitty, thats why i havent been on aim as much as before.

and the sever is going to be down until sunday night, so i wont be on at all from friday till sunday.

08:07 pm - VALENTINE'S DAY BULLITIN

Okay, I understand that some characters may want to send anonymous Valentine's presents for Valentine's day. Here's a way for them to do that.

I believe I have this journal set such that anonymous replying is allowed. So, for each anonymous present to a character, I want you to reply.

Put:

-The packaging of the gift
-Any card or tag included (with details about handwriting or font)
-The text of said card or tag
-The gift itself
-The location where the gift will be left in the post.

POST EACH GIFT SEPARATELY UNLESS THEY ARE FOR ONE CHARACTER AND DELIVERED TOGETHER.

If two characters are giving one character a gift, list the gifts separately.

And remember, THIS IS FOR ANONYMOUS GIFTS. You will be responsible for your character's signed or personally delivered gifts.

Have all them in by 11:59 P.M. EST on February 12.

Oh, I'll be posting my characters'... sometime. Eventually.

Oh, and no checking IP addresses.

Remember: EACH GIFT REQUIRES A SEPARATE POST UNLESS THEY ARE TO ONE CHARACTER FROM ONE CHARACTER AND TO BE DELIVERED TOGETHER.
