These teams met on the sports ground on
Saturday and played off the final in the
A. and B. Association premiership games.
There was a large attendance, the takings
at the gate totalling £112. Although the
home team were not in full strength owing
tto the absence of their best ruck man, C.
Bunton (who was injured recently), the
team was a fairly strong one. The play
all through was of an interesting order,
but the Weir had the better luck and in
the end won with a big margin of points
to their credit. The scores, at the end of
the various terms were as follow: —
First Quarter. — Hume Weir, 3 goals;
Half-time.— Hume Weir, 5' goals 8 be
hinds; Albury, 1 goal 5 behinds.
~ Third ' Quarter. — Hume 'Weir, 7 goals 12
behinds ; Albury, 2 goals 6 behinds.
Final Scores.— Hume Weir^ 10 goals 15
behinds (75 points); Albury, 4 goals 13
Goal-kickers. — Hume Weir, Baker (4),
Webster, and McAlpine (2 each), Grenell
and Parkhill (1 each); Albury, Birtles (2),

The winners were entertained at dinner
by Mr. W. P. Kinney, of the Albury Hotel,
and the usual toasts were proposed and
