Jervois Bridge, one of Port Adelaide's
oldest landmarks, is being altered al
most beyond recognition, by a gang of
workmen, who are making extensive
alterations to the superstructure.
The reason is the proposed introduc
tion of trolly buses on the Largs and
Semaphore route. Until the control
tower and overhead girders of the
bridge are raised, the new buses will be
