Williamstown Juniors engaged
Brunswick Wattles last Saturday, and
won easily. The Anzac Club and
Red Cross will benefit to the sum of

Korden, who umpired the game, was
complimented on all sides for his fair

The club have lost the services of
that straight-going coach, Charles
Hardy, who has served the team well
these two years. He goes back to
North Melbourne. Charlie was popu
lar with everyone, and his resignation
is regretted. The committee met last
Tuesday night to consider the filling
of the position of coach for the team,
and they unanimously decided on Mr.
Fred Carpenter. Fred is a local lad,
well respected, and he has had a large
amount of senior football experience
(three years with South Melbourne
and three with North Melbourne).

Parratt (captain of Fitzroy). who is
