I'm new, and beforehand, I didn't really care at first to join this community because of the fact that I have my own Teen Titans fan character and I thought it was mean to tear apart a character. But after traveling through FanFiction.Net, and after reading the countless of Mary Sue stories ...I seriously don't blame anyone for getting frustrated and coming here. I don't like how the characters are loved by all of the Titans without doing anything to win over the respect and how they immediately jump into a love affair with one of the original TT characters'. Also, they have to have flaws. It's no fun reading a perfect character and it makes other people who try to make their fan characters tolerable look bad and be hit with a stereotype. They're the kind of characters that should'veI found this story just an hour ago, and I was a bit disappointed with how the character is. The author is good at her writing; she's not a bad or the greatest author that ever lived, but she's alright at grammar and spelling. There's no doubt that the author has a promising future of being a good fan fiction writer.But it's her fan character that irked me in the end and finally brought me here. Now to get started. I'm not sure if anyone's used this character yet, but I'm posting, anyways, and if the character was already mentioned, let me know.Story Or Series Title: Forever LostCulprit Author's Name:** RaveniscoolSummary: A new heroine, Wolf, comes in. Beast Boy is crazy about her, and she actually makes friends with Raven! She can't control her "claws," though, for they grow out of her control.Hair Color (include adjectives): "...brown hair than stopped at her shoulder blades..."Eye Color (include adjectives): "...dark, brown eyes..."Unusual Markings/Colorations: None.Special Possessions (if any): Her leg warmers; they're the only thing that tells her outfit apart from Terra's when the Titans first met her.Slade's Apprentice: Well, Slade is supposingly after her so I suspect that there's going to be the same Betrayal-Aftershock plot all over again, except Birthmark is somehow involved. (Am I the only one who thinks the Titan Sues and Slade should never cross paths? It's a repeated plot, for Christ's sake.)Annoying Origin: Our main character Wolf was supposingly was at Tamaran for a while held as a prisoner, even though Wolf strongly claims that she did nothing wrong.Annoying Powers: She can transform into a wolf (wow, raise your hand if you didn't see that one coming), but the difference is (tada!) she can shape shift faster than Beast Boy. How original!Annoying Connections To Canon Characters: She met up with Starfire's sister and knew exactly who Starfire was and spoke to her as if she just talked to her, even though Starfire and the rest of the Titans never even met her. She also made Beast Boy blush over... absolutely nothing that she's said or done, but Beast Boy immediately takes a liking to her. And hey, Raven actually likes her off the bat!Annoying Special Abilities: Her claws can grow out at random without being able to control them. She also had the special ability to make Professor Chang cry, which the other Titans couldn't possibly make him do.Other Annoying Traits: Wolf immediately interacted with the Titans as if she knew them since they were kids and instantly became a friend. She also seems full of herself and completely flawless, despite her "not controlling her claws from growing insanely and scratching poor Raven's cheek." I live in Australia, and I first got into Teen Titans through the GO! TV show, but now I'm branching off into the current DC comic as well. I couldn't pick a favorite character, since each one is special in their unique way, but I do like Starfire's GO! design better than her DC-version.I'm not a big-head, and "Angel From Heaven" isn't what I refer to myself as :P It's the title of a fanfic I came across through another review here.
