Moonlight Dinner on the Farm! (original) (raw)
Agua Linda Farm invites the community to enjoy the local harvest with their first SLLOEW Dinner and live music event on August 24.
$40/person, by reservation only.
6:15-8:30pm
The 4 to 5 course set menu will be prepared on site and will feature fresh vegetables harvested that day at Agua Linda. The menu will also incorporate grass fed beef and other local foods. In the spirit of the slow-food movement, we like to call this a "SLLOEW" Dinner (using farmers Stewart and Laurel Loew's names). The final decisions on the menu will be decided after the harvest, but the star of the show will definitely be Agua Linda farm fresh TOMATOES!
August 24 was chosen for this event due to the full moon which is scheduled to make its appearance just before 7pm - if the monsoons don't steal the show! Either dramatically beautiful display will be welcomed for all to enjoy! (the dining tent will be ready in case of rain).
More information about this event can be found on the Agua Linda Farm website, here.
