The system is tested in the area of online counterfeiting with promising results. In order to generalize the solution unprecedented cooperation and information sharing are required between all stakeholders of e-commerce with a key part being reserved for the general public. The prospect of such mass adoption is made possible by the growing ethical concerns of modern-day consumers, fueled by the enormous negative social and economic impact of counterfeiting.

The main goals of the guided vehicles are to carry and to manipulate the half-processed parts between some machine tools with a view to finalizing their technological process. The working area in which the robots have access is assumed to be configured such as there may be created many ways (successive access segments for robots been guided through, eventually disposed with respect to the x-y plane axis). The user has the possibility to access a CAD tool for the zone configuring process. He may specify the area parameters, such as segments length and orientation, the number and the position of intersection points, the number of operational RGVs and their initial position, the predefined steps for each robot-working program.

The focus is on context-sensitive fuzzy sets and on the modal logic developed on their basis.

A specific software tool, made of two distinct modules (DNS, Drainage Network Simulation, and DNC, Drainage Network Control), was developed for the design, the study, and the control of urban drainage systems. The objectives are to avoid accidents, flooding, pollution through combined sewer overflows and excessive operation and maintenance costs. Fuzzy logic was proved to be a promising approach, flexible and easy accepted, because it includes the expert knowledge. Fuzzy system proposed is robust and also easy to understand and to modify. It offers the operator the possibility to participate directly in the system control, combining the results of the modern optimization techniques with the experience and knowledge accumulated in time by experts. Thus, the control of urban sewer system can be well solved by implementing an intelligent control system, based on available information (fuzzy in nature) and on expert's experience. An important feature of this fuzzy logic system is its capability to elaborate a control decision even in situations that were not considered in the design phase of the urban network.

The program may be also used for designing a specific fuzzy logic controller, which can be placed in a particular application, and for the simulation of the control, starting from a user defined model of the real process. The paper is structured in five chapters which follow the presentation of the design problem of a fuzzy logic based intelligent control structure, taking into account the facilities offered by special fuzzy logic techniques; it is also described the software product achieved by the authors, its resources, and some usage instructions, underlying the main benefits of this tool.

It is underlined that a good solution for this problem may be the use of fuzzy logic, which will lead to the construction of an application oriented fuzzy logic controller. It is used a fuzzy controller for each intersection, and a master controller is responsible for the control strategy in a road network. Thus, a hierarchical architecture is designed, and a fuzzy decision -making mechanism is implemented.

Two software modules have been especially designed to be used in the development process of the controller. The first one runs under Windows 95 on the host PC, and the other one runs on the target system, connected to the host PC using a standard serial link. These tools allows off-line simulation of the controller behaviour, as well as on-line configuring and monitoring of the controller software running on the 8051-based target system.
