motor skills. Objective: To examine the physical activity intervention on manipulative skills among
school children aged 8-12 years.Design: Young adults were randomly assigned to a physical activity
intervention or wait-list control group.Setting:school campus, playground.Participants: Twenty healthy
children ages 8 to 12 were selected from little flower public school, Tirunelveli, Tamilnadu, India. At
intake, all participants were experiencing physical activity at every day in physical education period.
Intervention: Subjects in the experimental group attended two 60mins of physical activity classes for
3day per each for 6 consecutive weeks. Main Outcome Measures: Manipulative skills such as a
Throwing and Throwing & Catching is measured with MOBAK-3 Basic motor competencies in third
grade. Results& Conclusion: Subjects who participated in the physical activity course demonstrated
significant improvement on Throwing and Throwing & Catching. These effects emerged by the 6Weeks
of physical activity intervention. Also mean value indicate experimental group are better than control
group. These findings provide suggestive evidence of the utility of physical activity in improving
manipulative skills.

skills among 6-7 years school children - Pre and post randomised controlled study. The 60 participants
(age range, 6-7) were recruited from among the total of 200 school children from Sri Sarada
Matriculation School, Ariyakulam, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India by random sampling method.
Selected participants further randomly divided into two groups each 30 participants. The Testof Gross
Motor Development-Second Edition (TGMD-2)was used to test the Locomotor skill. pre and post
randomised control design. Randomised control Group (i.e experimental and control group) will
berandomized to divide the group by random sampling method. In this study we used Probability
sampling technique were used. Based on that Parametric Statistics were selected such as Descriptive
statistics used to find the nature of the data, paired sample t test used to find the improvement between
pre and post test and Univariate Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) used to find the difference among
the groups. Statistical significance was established asP < 0.05.According to the findings of the present
study PA intervention had influenced to develop the children motor skill ability such as Locomotor
skills (run, gallop, hop, leap, horizontal jump and slide).

For this purpose, one hundred (n=100) children were selected from Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, India. The Subjects "age ranged between 6 to 8 years. The selected subjects were divided into two groups of fifty subjects each namely experimental and control group. The selected motor skill variables such as bilateral coordination (as jumping in a place-same side synchronized, tapping finger and leg same side synchronized), balance (walking forward on a line and standing one leg on a balancing beam with eye open) and upper-limb coordination (dropping and catching a ball with both hands and dribbling a ball-alternate hands) for this study. The selected dependent variables were assessed by using the Bruininks-Oseretsky test for Motor Proficiency Second Edition-(BOT-2). The collected data on the selected variables were treated with independent "t" test at 0.05 level of significant. The results of the study indicate that there was significant improvement on motor skills due to the effect of 6 weeks Yogasanas practice.

Research Design and Methods: We carry out a systematic review of the literature between 2010 to 2017 in representative databases for the effect of physical activities or exercise training on academic achievements including language, reading and mathematics-related skills. Our Inclusion criteria which are not considering the journals published before 2010. Exclusion criteria are followed that physically and mentally challenged pupils are skipped. Results: The assessments are arranged as country views and Positive values represent a direct relationship between physical activity influence in academic achievement scores. Out 100 articles 50 articles met our inclusion criteria. Among these 25 articles from USA give positive relations on academic performance, as well as 10 articles from UK, 6 articles from India, 3 articles from Canada, 3 articles from Norway and 3 articles from Finland also report as physical activity helps to enhancing the academic performance also. Conclusion: Physical activity, especially physical education, benefits several aspects of academic achievement, such as mathematics-related skills, reading, and composite etc. Physical activities also help to improve their academic behavior such us task behavior, attendance etc. Cognitive skills such as attention, memory, concentration and mood also developed due to physical activity.

achieve the purpose of the study 15 volleyball men players were selected as subjects from
department of Physical Education & sports, M.S University Tirunelveli District. The training
period was restricted to six week and the number of sessions per week was confined to 3
days (alternative days) and their age ranged between 21 to 24 years. The experimental
group received their own video and elite player video through mobile connected with
projector programmes such as video shows, clippings, and so forth for skills in Volleyball.
Serving were selected as dependent variables and it was tested by using Brumback
volleyball service test. For skill analysis used mobile application namely Hudl technique.
The collected data were statistically analysed by using descriptive analysis, paired sample
„t‟ test. There was a significant improvement on passing and serving of Volleyball players
due to the effect of skill analysis through mobile application.
