This community is open for all, but you are obligated to keep yourself updated when it comes to rules.

Please, make an attempt to proofread your work before posting. Hot off the press tend to be riddled with mistakes.

Please ask me before promoting/advertising.

We work with the principle ‘your ship is not my ship and that's okay’ (same goes for kinks) – meaning that there is no tolerance for bashing of authors, characters or pairings.

I have no idea why my personal header have replaced the community one, but I do apologise for that. I have now fixed it and the community should look like it should.

First order of business - the main reason for this mod post is that we now have new rule: don't PM my personal journal with community business. We do have a suggestions and FAQ box if you have questions or suggestions.

Second order of business - I would love some suggestions on how to make this community better, because let's face it we're a small fandom and the show is rather old. Would you want weekly discussion posts? Or anything else that could make us closer-knit as a community? A prompt meme? Anything else? I would love getting some suggestions.

Third order of business - I've updated the FAQ with some of the questions I've repeatedly got over PM's.

I've been wanting to do a Tessa/Marta vid for years and finally got to it. The music is "La Isla Bonita" by Madonna. The vid is embedded under the cut. Thanks for watching!

Incidentally, if anyone knows of any Tessa/Marta fanfic, please link me! That's my pairing but I only know of two fics, Noche Dulce and the one I wrote.

Note: Some people have found this vid blocked on youtube and others haven't, so just in case, the vid can be downloaded in m4v format or in mov format.

I thought that you might be interested in seeing the pimp I did for the Queen of Swords fandom over at smallfandomfest

The premise of the entire series is: what if Zorro was a woman? Maria Teresa Alvarado receives news that her father has been killed in an accident. She returns from Spain to her childhood home of Santa Helena in California. She finds her home in ruins and the village under control by the tyrannical colonel Montoya. Something does not make sense with her father’s supposed accident and he comes to her in a dream. After this dream she becomes the Queen of Swords to avenge her father and protect the village of Santa Helena.

Hello!

Now that tvqueenofswords are up and running, we are ready for business.

I am going to admit that this is my first community, so I am very open to suggestions on how to improve the community. Particularly how to get the news out so that everybody knows about the existence of us. I am going to pimp out the fandom on smallfandomfest soon in the future.

I've seen that a few of you already has old posts regarding Queen of Swords - fanfics and icons and whatnot - so if you'd like, it would make me very happy if you put up links to the entries here (as long as it follows the rules).

If you have any questions, reply to this post or here if you'd like to affiliate. I'll try to get back to you as quickly as possible.
