Has it really almost been another year since my computer died? So shameful. We have news! First off, in case you don’t follow either spastasmagoria or myself, Chicks Dig Time Lords, the book that contains a comic about Torchwood Babiez, won the Hugo Award for Best Related Work last Saturday night. We’re completely ecstatic for our friends. A lot of blood, sweat, tears and love went into it and it’s awesome to see it pay off.And now the REALLY good news. The final part of Torchwood Babiez is complete. Hooray! Before anyone asks, YES, it’s been backed up on every single harddrive I have (and then some). We’re planning to post it some time this evening, so keep your eyes peeled!We want to thank everyone for being so patient and understanding. I lost my will to draw after my harddrive died, which is not easy when your profession is to draw for at least eight hours each day. But I’m so pleased we saw it all the way through to the end. We hope you like it. OMG, this is it! Hang onto your butts!♥,spastasmagoria and jigglykatPS. ~~We promised it wouldn't be abandoned, amirite?~~

So we have some bad news, guys. A week ago, my harddrive died unexpectedly. I’ve taken it to be looked at by a few computer savvy folks, but there’s no way of transferring the data without sending it to a professional data recovery, which gets to be very expensive.The final part of Torchwood Babiez has been lost. What’s worse is that it was done. DONE. I had a few more pages to put together and that’d be it. You guys have no idea how upset I’ve been this past week. I’ve not only lost the last part of the comic, but a decent amount of my own personal art work as well. We feel awful for letting everyone down. We were both super-excited to have this done and share with you. I do still have some of the previous files saved on an external HD, so I haven’t lost everything. But as of now, we have absolutely no clue when the final part will be finished. Despite this setback, we do want you all to know that this comic will not be abandoned. I’m going to try my hardest to use any spare time to work on it. Thanks, you guys, for being understanding. A sidenote: Any comment in the vein of “This is why you back up your work” will not be appreciated. I’ve already been kicking myself all week and I don’t need to go through another round of it.

We’ll be there promoting Chicks Dig Time Lords, which, rumor has it, will be available for purchase at this con! Come check out the panel on Sunday afternoon at 2:30! Hope to see you there! As far as when the epilogue will be posted, I have no idea. I’ll be honest with you guys. It is in the works, but since my current freelance work has taken over my life, I haven’t touched it in months. And since freelance pays the bills and Babiez doesn’t… I hope you all understand what is top priority, yeah? Just be awesomesauce and patient with us! I know we left you off on a bit of a cliffhanger, but I hope the end will be worth the wait. It WILL be finished… one day. ♥,spastasmagoria and jigglykat

We had a blast at the Hurricane Who one and met some awesome folks, soooo… why not?If you’re in the area, or not doing anything for Thanksgiving (you US folks, that is), stop on by! Chicago TARDIS is a personal favorite of ours and this year, it’s Eighth Doctor themed! Paul McGann, Daphne Ashbrook, and Yee Jee Tso will be in attendance as well as Naoko Mori, Phil Collinson, Gary Russell, Rob Shearman, Tony Lee, Nick Briggs, India Fisher… the list goes on!
