Beat wanted for a Reel_Torchwood story based on Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House (but with an OT3 ending)
Genre: Drama

Strengths/Weaknesses (optional): I'm generally pretty decent as far as grammar goes, although I am a queen of long, unwieldy sentences. I've done a lot of writing in the past, but this is the first time in a long time that I've written fanfic, so my major issue is making sure that characters are in character, dialogue is believable, and I don't grossly violate the vastness that is Doctor Who canon in some unforgivable way. Also, Britpicking is always nice.

Please help - I am writing a crossover story for a big bang (not Torchwood but the Torchwood characters play a big part of the story and it is mostly Whoniverse setting) and, unfortunately, have totally lost touch with the person who signed up to beta for me. The final draft of the story is due in on the Oct 26 and I really need someone other than me to at least read through it.
Given the rapidly approaching nature of the deadline at this point, while I would appreciate feedback on the characters and plot I am more concerned with making sure it is readable. Knowledge of the other shows in the crossover (X-Files and The State Within) is really not essential. It has slashy hints but that is about all.
