Wanted: Beta! Fic is 2000 words, complete, and Tosh-centric. I tend to be good with spelling and grammar, but it's my first Torchwood fic, so I'd like to make sure that everyone is in-character and that the plot makes sense. Brit-picking would be nice but not crucial. Thanks in advance! :)

Hi, I was hoping some lovely writer would give me a fic with Jack and Ianto being taken by the rift/abducted by aliens and their fight to get home, set anywhere between To The Last Man and Fragments, after watching COE I think they had to short a time together so this is my hope in terms of a fix-it fic, without messing with canon. Fluffy, with a tiny bit of angst , H/C and smut (the last is optional)

Wow, it seems this community came around just in time! :D

I'm new to the Torchwood fandom (though I have been in Doctor Who for a few years). I recently started cramming Torchwood in because I thought I should and I absolutely fell in love. I didn't really have any choice but to write fic, really.

Anyway, it's a one-shot, about 4,000 words. The official summary is "In which Jack searches for an answer and Gwen discovers how truly fickle the heart can be." I didn't mean for there to be smut, but there is -- it sort of just happened. The fic is also assumed Gwen/Rhys and hints at Owen/Gwen. It's set near the beginning of season two (as that's all I've seen!).

Beta wise I'm mostly looking for someone for characterisation, as this is my first fic and I'm always really nervous with new characters I haven't written. I don't need a Britpick, what with being a Brit and all, but typo errors/grammatical errors (hopefully there should not be many!), repetitions of words, sentences that may not make sense ... you know.

Thanks to anyone who picks this up. I've already got one person who's going to look at it, but I always like getting a second pair of eyes :D
