Joey's mostly happy about his new baby sister. The cats still somewhat pissed off, but she is at least stalking Molly now instead of hiding from her... so I guess that's progress *L*

This could also be titled "Annoying my beloved" *L*
So Mr E is watching sports center the other night and they are talking about the new football season starting and making teams for fantasy football, which I never really understood the concept of... and then it hit me.
Me: So is fantasy football basically Fan Fiction for sports?
Mr E: *somewhat startled/appalled by the comparison* Wha... No...
Me: You pick players you would like together... Right?
Mr E: Yes
Me: *whisper* shipping
Mr E: What?
Me: *smiling* Oh nothing. So basically you put together players you like and want to see together in as scenario that you want them to play out?
Mr E: Yeah... I suppose
Me: Sounds like fanfiction to me.
In the end he did convince me that there is a difference in that you don't get to control the outcome, since it depends on how the players actually preform in real life... but still, I think I finally am less confused now *L*

When I went back home to Oregon for a visit last week, the kids were sad because they couldn't come with me. They decided the next best thing would be to send along a Lego mini figure with me in their place, so that he could "travel with me, be my good luck charm and have an adventure." I requested Loki, but they didn't trust me to not loose his hat *L* , so Frodo became my traveling companion *G* Here are a some photos of his (and my) trip .

1. I have been trying to get in some exercise everyday for better health... and a smaller jean size.
After working out today I made these graphics (with a bit of help from TLC's 'toddlers in tiaras' ;) to express my feeling on said exercise *L*
I took this picture today of these two baby prairie dogs who seemingly both really wanted that carrot *L*

my reaction while watching the new ctv castle promo went something like this.....
"Oh yay a new promo"... "oh looks like they are just going to show the more actiony stuuuu.... OH MY DEAR GOD!!!"... then I pressed rewind... then I pressed it again... and again *L*
just a few fannish things...
1.
Trying out a new layout... I still need to make a banner, but I converted an older collage, which actually works pretty well for now.
2. Castle... watched next weeks promo an embarrassing amount of times now. ;)
3. Working my way through that firefly icon challenge I posted earlier... still have a ton more to make, but at least I have a start on it *G*
4. Been in an iconing mood lately... should have a new icon post up soon.

Came home yesterday to find what I thought from a distance was a rather large mouse (or small rat) on my front porch... tuned out it was this. I would have been less freaked out by a mouse.
Still don't know what IT was, but was very glad to see it had left during the night. Anyone know what this thing is?

Hubby and the kids took me out on Saturday to cash in on that promises of a kitten they told me I could get for my birthday. Petsmart was having a big adoption weekend, so we went and picked out our newest family member. Her name is 'Bo' (she was already named that, so we could change it... but the dr. who fan in me thinks we may just keep it ;) She 4 month old and very sweet. The poodle is not overly thrilled with the situation, but I'm sure he'll adapt.
