Many organizations strive to measure their organizational cultures and their alignment through different models or by adopting internal methods. Despite the great importance of organizational alignment, there is no standardized instrument for measuring it. Therefore, alignment becomes the main focus in theoretical analysis and effort to design an instrument which is verified, easily implementable and measurable in the field of management and organizational culture. This paper has a twofold nature, the first is to give a historical approach to a development of an instrument for measuring organizational culture, leadership styles and their alignment called "Vox Organizationis", and the second is to propose modification and simplification of the same instrument. The birth year of "Vox Organizations", as a starting point for a holistic vision of the organization, is 2011. This instrument enables exploration of the alignment level between organizational culture, leader's values, organizational structure as well as organizational strategy. As of 2019, we propose new version of the instrument under the name Vox 2.0. It has two modifications and one add on. The two modifications are Vox Standard and Vox Standard Plus (Vox Standard +), and add on is Vox Extended, which includes change management consultancy. "Vox Standard" is to measure the alignment between Organizational culture and Leader's values. "Vox Standard Plus" (Standard + Formal) is to measure the alignment between Organizational culture, Leader's Values and the Formal part of the organization. They are both based on the Four Culture Types (4CT) and Four Leadership Types (4LT). "Vox Extended"-as "add on that includes Change Management Intervention, if the organization is severely nonaligned.

In order to investigate the role of national culture, it is fundamental to first analyse the communication styles and then identify how these are related to each other. With a purpose to identify differences (or similarities) in communication styles across selected countries, a factor analysis was conducted, combined with an ANOVA test. Based on a sample from 10 different cultures: Germany

The main aim of this research is to investigate the level and the relationship between psychological distress, burnout, job satisfaction and intention to quit among primary healthcare nurses in public and private practices while accounting for their socio-demographic characteristics. This was a cross sectional study of 173 primary health care nurses. The Oldenburg Burnout Inventory and General Health Questionairre-12 were used to assess burnout and psychological distress among nursing staff. High psychological distress was present in 21.38% of all respondents and was significantly related to intention to quit. The results indicated a mean job satisfaction score of 3.54 with higher job satisfaction among private vs. public sector nurses. Furthermore, nurses with higher burnout levels and lower job satisfaction were more likely to consider leaving the profession compared with those with lower burnout and higher job satisfaction. The study provides valuable insight for managers of general healthcare practice and healthcare policy makers in effectively managing and retaining primary healthcare nurses.

In his model, which consists of six dimensions, Hofstede describes the society's culture effect on values. As national culture is deeply rooted in the society's norms and shapes the individual's behavior, it very strongly molds the entrepreneurial spirit in one country. Namely, a society that wants to promote entrepreneurship and the emergence of more entrepreneurs definitely needs culture that supports it. The paper introduces fear of failure as a seventh dimension and high status to entrepreneurs as an eighth dimension to Hofstede's six-dimensional model of national culture, and looks closely into countries' differences by analyzing the impact that the dimensions have on the determin...

The unknown crisis created unprecedented circumstances for all participants in the education process, and school leaders have had a double job: to navigate their institutions and to look after their employees. The latter is a pretty delicate task - they have had to keep doing business and running their companies while minding the language since physical distancing necessitated the use of electronic communication, thus making room for vagueness and even misinterpretations. Ten education leaders of primary and secondary schools in North Macedonia have been video-interviewed on everyday COVID-19-related situations from their workplace context. Discourse completion tasks (DCTs) have been employed as a data elicitation method. Being given the open-ended, only topically specified scenarios, the respondents are asked to r...

Streets have played an important role in cities from ancient times, connecting areas, people, and things, promoting business, social interaction, and transportation. Cities' cultural, social, economic, and political functions have been partially defined by streets, plazas, and well-designed public areas. They were-and still are-the first feature to distinguish a place's status, from a haphazard and unplanned settlement to a well-established town or metropolis. In many parts of the world, people are reclaiming their streets as public places. Streets are being redesigned to allow communities to use them to their full potential and as a form of social engagement. However, despite its great importance, not many studies attempted to explore the characteristics and roles of streets and public places, especially within the Macedonian context. The purpose of this study is to explore the sense of comfort and safety of people while being in urban streets and public places. Moreover, in view of the main research objective, besides the characteristics of the urban streets, the demographic variables, such as gender and age were examined as to their relevance for their perceptions. The research results have indicated that the characteristics of the urban streets have impact on participant's perception and feelings, while in terms of demographic variables, only age has a significant role in the perception of the public space of Skopje from every aspect, but not in the sense of comfort and safety while walking in urban streets and public spaces.

Two questionnaires (one for leaders and one for organization members) designed by the authors of this case study were administered to these two targeted hierarchical levels in a privately-owned company in North Macedonia. The analysis showed what both groups statedafter the pandemic outbreak face to face meetings were replaced by virtual communication, shorter meetings became more common, leaders were involved by giving feedback, and they led by logos, with the most welcomed difference being in the leadership model: leaders maintained that their leading was by example in both periods, while organization members claimed that after the start of the crisis their leaders' priority was work-life balance.

The studies has shown that organizational culture is considered to be an “asset” that can be connected to progress execution, hence being remarkable to the life of the organization. However, since the market competition rules has become more radical and demand for companies a complex “collection” of measures and changes, modern companies should focus not only on a solid organizational culture, but rather on the alignment within. Alignment along with innovativeness and integration can assist the companies in outperforming their main rivals and competitors. Therefore, numerous organizations endeavor to measure their organizational cultures through already reputable models by perceived authors or to receive inside strategies to supply understandable parameters in order to appraise their organizational cu...

The analytical structure of English makes this a very frequent, productive, and economic process, across almost all categories, with the noun to verb and the verb to noun directions marking the most common process formations. Yet, regardless of the direction, the newly formed, zero derived lexeme belongs to a different lexical (sub)category not only based on the same form but on the similar semantics that the old and the new lexemes share, due to the meaning transfer through cognition. Having seen that the process of zero derivation is present and widespread in everyday life, this paper aims at researching its presence...

This aspect has been linked to numerous indicators of organizational success and there are a number of efforts to measure it. However, research on organizational culture has been sparse in southeast Europe, especially for small and medium enterprises. Therefore, this paper proposes a new instrument for measuring organizational culture that was developed in southeast Europe and tests its applicability in small and medium Enterprises from the region. The study was carried out in the Republic of Macedonia using a convenience sample of employees from three companies. The results show the value of the findings for the companies as well as the applicability of the new instrument. Further validation using a representative sample is suggested.
