Jaime Arancibia is Professor of Administrative Law at Universidad de los Andes (Chile). In 1999, he received his LL.B., highest distinction, from UC Law School in Chile and was admitted to practice by the Supreme Court. He was awarded his Ph.D degree in Law from Cambridge University in 2006. His doctoral thesis “Judicial Review of Commercial Regulation” was published by Oxford University Press in 2011.Dr. Arancibia has been the recipient of scholarships from the British Council (Chevening), the Cambridge Overseas Trust, the Chilean Government (Beca Presidente de la República), and the Andes Foundation (Chile).In 2016 The Central Bank of Chile appointed Jaime Arancibia as Judge of the Competition Tribunal (2016-2018).
