After establishing this narrative context, the article embarks on a mission to observe how the space epic genre (better known as space opera) established itself in cinema and how it has come to look now, by analyzing movies from successful series such as Blade Runner and Alien.

To better understand the context in which this character developed, I begin by presenting some relevant details from the life and work of the medieval ruler Vlad the Impaler, the source of inspiration for the British writer. The purpose of this article is to highlight the differences in nuance and changes over time with respect to Dracula. From a one-sided, bloody, animalistic character, he becomes more and more sophisticated every decade. In a cinematic century, Dracula changes radically, begins to have secondary objectives, placed immediately after his physiological need. This behavioral change can define the producers’ attempt to create a product that is marketable and open to a wider audience.

We are generally talking about young people in delicate moments of their existence, attracted to outrageous behaviour by bad entourage. To follow the way this attitude changes in just a few years, I first refer to how films in the '70s try to punish their anti-heroes, and then I swing to the next decade, when not sanction, but recovery of enemies becomes the main subject of this type of narrative. The article tries to understand why this mutation occurs and how it is actually applied.

In 2010, when it was launched, the film stirred heated controversy between those who labelled it as masterpiece and those who were bothered by the dreariness contemplated by the Romanian filmmaker. Starting from the critics' reactions, Puiu's public interventions and a series of audience reception theories, the paper sets to explain why the film Aurora causes unease.

This will allow us to recognize a series of characterological and professional attributes present in the protagonists of these narratives which claimed to have come from reality. All of these heroes are shrewd, tenacious and well-intentioned because the official propaganda wanted to deliver a certain beautified image of the Romanian agent, about whom these films suggested having the mental and physical capabilities to be successful against any kind of villain and therefore being able to protect his country with a great sense of duty and commitment.

The production presented by Showtime in 2019 and taken over by HBO stirred an important interest, due to the subject it presents, namely the way in which in the mid-90s the Republican Roger Ailes built and consolidated on the American media market the Fox News television channel, through a radical approach, very politically engaged and, as later proved, immoral and sexist, toxic. The miniseries was produced at the same time as Ailes was accused, in 2016, of sexual abuse and harassment by former employees of the station, and at the time of his death, a year later, in 2017. These two controversial topics attract the interest of the current world establishment, which offered the Golden Globe to Russell Crowe for his role in "The Loudest Voice" and nominated Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie for the Oscars based on their performances in "Bombshell", a film that also appeared in 2019 and dealt with the same subject, but from the perspective of the female colleagues harassed by Ailes. Linking the ideas expressed by Noam Chomsky in the '80s and '90s and the way "The Loudest Voice" treats the illusion that the press often builds, I aim to follow the way the process of media manipulation is refined in time and becomes the main tool of the current political competition. It is extremely interesting the way in which, in just a few generations, the content of a debate no longer matters, but the performative act itself.

In this sense, we choose to discuss the film made by the artistic couple Manole Marcus - Titus Popovici, The Power and The Truth (1972), and we resort to a content analysis to understand the way it was made. We are also interested in the echoes of the film in the press of the time and how with the help of newspaper articles the authorities inoculate the idea that this film is the most important cinematographic achievement of the moment, a benchmark for political productions to be made from that point on. Keywords: Cinematography, Political Film, Nicolae Ceauşescu, Manole Marcus, Titus Popovici, Propaganda "

I will first speak a little about the painting, describing it and analysing the context in which it was created, then I will develop a list of art objects which are related in a way or another to it, as well as talking in a concise way about some of them.
