The purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between job autonomy and work outcom... more The purpose of this research was to examine the relationship between job autonomy and work outcomes (job performance, job satisfaction and job stress), self efficacy as a mediating variable. This research also investigated the impact of job satisfaction on job performance and job stress on job performance. Variables in this research were measured via a survey of 190 banking salespersons in D.I. Yogyakarta and Solo. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) were used to examine the effects of job autonomy on work outcomes, job satisfaction on job performance, and job stress on job performance. Results showed that the estimated model in this research is acceptable based on its score of the goodness of fit index. The structural relationship showed that job autonomy significantly related to job satisfaction and performance, but not significant with job stress. It also showed that self efficacy partially mediated the relationship between job autonomy and job satisfaction, and job performance. In addition, this research found that self efficacy not mediated the relationship between job autonomy and job stress. There was no significant relationship between job autonomy and job performance but this research showed that job satisfaction significantly related to job performance. Finally, these results had an important implication to managers in designing job.

By using a quantitative approach, 212 teachers from senior high schools and vocational high schools in three suburbs of Bandung City, Indonesia, were involved in this study. The research model in this study was tested using PLS-SEM assisted by SmartPLS 3.2.9 for Windows software. The results indicate that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior. Job satisfaction also played a significant role in mediating the relationship between transformational leadership and innovative work behavior. The findings also demonstrate that job satisfaction has a significant effect on innovative work behavior. The digital transformation of higher education institutions has become one of the most significan... more The digital transformation of higher education institutions has become one of the most significant trends in recent years. Unfortunately, this change is facing many challenges and pitfalls. Therefore, understanding how to manage digitalization amid continuous change should be a top priority for leaders of higher education institutions. This article reviews previous research focused on digitalization in higher education. Using non-systematic literature methods, it starts by summarizing the main driving forces, barriers, and pitfalls of digitalization in higher education. The selected papers were chosen based on their relevance to the article's purpose. The findings discuss the four main elements of managing digitalization in higher education. These four elements should be a priority in universities' strategy. Finally, the proposed framework in this article is expected to contribute to developing theory and practice in managing digitalization in higher education.

Perkembangan teknologi yang memberikan perubahan pada cara bekerja telah diprediksi mempengaruhi ... more Perkembangan teknologi yang memberikan perubahan pada cara bekerja telah diprediksi mempengaruhi work-life balance karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh technostress pada work-life balance dengan kepuasan kerja sebagai variable mediasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 156 karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan perbankan di Kota Jayapura. Hal ini dilakukan karena perusahaan di sektor perbankan juga mengalami tekanan untuk terus melakukan digital transformation. Hasil pengujian menemukan arah yang berbeda dengan temuan di penelitian sebelumnya. Technostress ditemukan memiliki arah positif terhadap work-life balance. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini juga tidak menemukan peran mediasi kepuasan kerja pada hubungan technostress dan work-life balance. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pemimpin organisasi dalam pengelolaan stres kerja karyawan secara khusus sebagai dampak dari intensitas penggunaan teknologi di dalam pekerjaan.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the term work from home (WFH) has been introduced to refer to a wor... more During the Covid-19 pandemic, the term work from home (WFH) has been introduced to refer to a work arrangement in which individual can complete their duties while they are at home. While most flexible work arrangements are a preference, work from home is mandatory. Therefore, the impact of WFH during the Covid-19 pandemic needs to be studied. The total respondent of this study is 337 employees, who are works at home during the pandemic. The results showed that the three main benefits employees might gain during WFH are flexibility, more time with family, and less travel time. On the other side, employees struggle to balance their personal and work life, access to websites or software, and limited devices and workspace. Most of the companies are not ready for the WFH scheme though some of them gave support to employees (e.g., quota subsidy). This research gave some essential suggestions for HR managers in designing remote work for the future.

Therefore, universities are forced to prepare their learning management system’s infrastructure quickly. Students and lecturers’ readiness for e-learning are also crucial. This study aims to investigate lecturers and students’ readiness for online learning during this pandemic. Furthermore, lecturers and students’perception about the constraints and advantages of online learning were also explored in this study. Respondents in this study were 1036 students and 354 lecturers from various universities in Indonesia. Workplace spirituality is a new model of management related to employee work behaviour in the org... more Workplace spirituality is a new model of management related to employee work behaviour in the organization. This research examined the relationship between workplace spirituality (WPS) toward organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). It also investigated moderator effect of perceived organizational support (POS). Samples of the study were 178 employees from Islamic Banks in Bandung, Indonesia. A technique of data collection was using survey methods with primary data that provide questions to respondents. Validity and reliability testing were used to analyze the data and two hypotheses that proposed were tested with analysis of regression. The result of first hypothesis showed that aspects WPS was significantly effect to OCB by 40.9% and the second hypothesis showed that POS has moderated effect on the influence between WPS and OCB with total of 46.4%. However, overdependence on internet use in the learning process may negatively affect the academic progress of students. Some students delay submitting academic assignments without tangible reasons. Students often use the internet for activities unrelated to academics. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between cyberloafing behavior and academic procrastination of Indonesian students during Covid-19 pandemic. The effect of self-regulated learning in explaining the relationship between cyberloafing behavior and academic procrastination was also discussed. This study used a descriptive study. The data collection technique was the survey method with the help of questionnaires. Sample size for this research was 732 students drawn from both the state and private universities in Indonesia. The results of the study showed that cyberloafing significantly affects students' academic procrastination. Moreover, the relationship between these two variables was moderated by self-regulated learning. This research is expected to provide input to all parties involved in the student learning process and help develop information technology integration in the learning process.

Employee engagement (EE) devided in two dimension: job engagement (JE), and organization engagement (OE). JE and OE were tested as mediating variables. Data were collected through questiionnaires to 164 employees of banking industry in Bandung and Jakarta. The results of this research showed that the two dimensions of EE have different meaning. Organizational support and organization commitment significantly acted as antecedents of JE and OE. Meanwhile, job characteristics, reward, management support and procedural justice have not found as antecedents of JE and OE. Employees who WFH increase their perception of more autonomous on how to handle their tasks, this is known as job autonomy. This study aimed to examine the relationship between job autonomy and well-being, and the mediating effects of job crafting on job autonomy and employees’ well-being during WFH in Covid-19 Pandemic. An online survey was conducted and there were 427 respondents involved. This leads to an important and increased emphasis on strength and employee engagement that are built on the organizational culture to show an awareness of spirituality in the workplace. This study aimed to explore the relationship between workplace spirituality and employee engagement of lecturers in Indonesia and professional commitment as a mediator. The respondents of the study were 322 lecturers from state and private universities in Indonesia. Validity, reliability, simple regression, and path analysis were used to analyze the data. Hypotheses testing were employed by Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) technique. This research has also been done to examine the perception between man and woman in connected to the work load influence towards work stress. This research samples are 75 employees of Telkom Limited Corporation in Bandung. Both of tested hypotheses support by the previous research. The first hypothesis result shown that work overload ifluent significantly toward work stress for the employees. Futhermore, the second hypothesis described that work overload significantly influenced to the man employees and workload for the woman employees seem not to be influent significantly. Employees who WFH increase their perception of more autonomous on how to handle their tasks, this is known as job autonomy. This study aimed to examine the relationship between job autonomy and well-being, and the mediating effects of job crafting on job autonomy and employees’ well-being during WFH in Covid-19 Pandemic. An online survey was conducted and there were 427 respondents involved. The model was analyzed using WarpPLS 7.0 and the results showed that no significant relationship was found between job autonomy and well-being. This leads to an important and increased emphasis on strength and employee engagement that are built on the organizational culture to show an awareness of spirituality in the workplace. This study aimed to explore the relationship between workplace spirituality and employee engagement of lecturers in Indonesia and professional commitment as a mediator. The respondents of the study were 322 lecturers from state and private universities in Indonesia. Validity, reliability, simple regression, and path analysis were used to analyze the data. Hypotheses testing were employed by Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) technique.
