Just as we are able to analyse social interactions and their meanings, we are able to analyse the meanings of images and notice their subjective and objective levels of interpretation. Cartooning is all about perceiving and observing details that we have learned to overlook over time. Cartoon and caricature imply visual, cultural and semantic components, especially the cartoon or otherwise caricatured image, the theme, the content and the humour – the comic, ironic or satirical sphere of life or cultural and artistic expression, taking the form of a joke, anecdote or aphorism. A caricature is a deliberate modification of a phenomenon with the intention of retouching or hyperbolizing some particulars or a si...

This fact was also caused by the fact that under the influence of information and communication technologies, information began to be handled differently than was previously used in journalistic practice. Digitization was one of the basic preconditions for the emergence of multimedia and a determinant of what we call "convergence". It affected several fields of society, but the work in the media field was marked, both in the process of creating and presenting and distributing media content. Technological innovations are interconnected, supportive and jointly intervene in various types of communication-not excluding the journalistic. Editorial offices create multimedia content to get the attention of recipients through mobile phones, social media and other channels.

OFFLINE COMMUNICATION OF JAN PALÁRIK’S THEATRE IN TRNAVA, 2019

The theater has undergone numerous changes since its inception (1831). Its most striking and still called the golden era was the transformation into the Theater for Children and Youth (1974). After the revolution, it did not focuse longer on a production for the younger part of the audience but had to search for its identity again. This is also the aim of the new theater management, which wants to make the theater a modern institution of the 21st century, covering the cultural needs of all ages and various social functions. This is also the direction of its overall communication. The printed materials produced by the theater provide visitors with essential and necessary information, without which the sale of theatrical performances would be limited to the online, efficient audience of the theater. In the years 2018 - 2019 communication of Ján Palárik Theater changed to the viewers mainly in the case of offline communication. We can say that the communication of the theater underwent a significant visual change and it was not only expanded by a print magazine, which is a high-quality and distinctive promotional material. It is also a typical example that shows that offline is not dead. The aim of DJP is to make the magazine look solid, in line with the position of the coat of arms public cultural institution of Trnava region, while at the same time conforming to thehighest standards of communication design today.
