The effect on the expected total cost and quality control cost is investigated with three different assumptions of the quality control parameters. Using a tabu seach algorithm, the optimal values of quality control parameters, for different PM levels, are found. A non-uniform scheme for sampling frequency, sample size and control limit co-efficient provides lower cost as compared to schemes where only sampling frequency is taken as non-uniform.

To achieve this goal, the absorbed dose verification program was initiated by using the diode in vivo dosimetry (IVD) system (for entrance and exit). This practice was implemented at BINO, Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Diodes were calibrated for making absorbed dose measurements. Various correction factors (SSD, dose non-linearity, field size, angle of incidence, and wedge) were determined for diode IVD system. The measurements were performed in phantom in order to validate the IVD procedure. One hundred and nineteen patients were monitored and 995 measurements were performed. For phantom, the percentage difference between measured and calculated dose for entrance setting remained within ±2 % and for exit setting ±3 %. For patient measurements, the percentage difference between measured and calculated dose remained within ±5 % for entrance/open fields and ±7 % for exit/we...

The territories for the foxes are considered to be the simple cells. The interactions between predator and its prey are represented by the chemical reactions which obey the mass action law. In this sense, we apply the mass action law for predator prey models and the quasi chemical approach is applied for the interactions between the predator and its prey to develop the modeled equations for different possible mechanisms of the predator prey interactions.
