May 1, 2009 - this LJ account is now officially dead. I will be leaving this bio and all entries intact for personal reference and my general archival obsession. Expect no new entries from this point on. Comments are disabled.

A few notes:
1. Those links above are there for my own reference, but I consider them all very handy, and encourage you to check them out and create some sort of page/post/something easy to bookmark so you have quick access to them.
2. You don't have to ask permission to add me to your friends list, just go ahead and do it, then make a (relevant) comment in a post of mine some time to let me know. I can't guarantee I'll add you back, so don't be offended if I don't. My friends list gets pretty crowded some time, so don't take it personally if you get snipped.
3. I love being quoted, it's a bit of an ego stroke to think that something I said was deemed quote-worthy. As such, if you read something in a post I made, you don't have to ask me permission, as long as the post is public. Just make a quick comment to the post (something like "metaquotes'd" is fine). However, if there's a little "lock" icon beside the subject heading, it's a friends-only post and I'd prefer you ask permission.
4. I like to make icons now and then, and have a journal devoted to that, ugli_icons. However, sometimes I'll make posts about my icons in this journal, so I feel the need to mention my icon "rules" here as well. Basically, if I post an icon I made, you can assume that it's okay for you to use it if you want. I'd appreciate a comment letting me know you're going to take it, and unless I specify that credit isn't necessary (often when I'm simply doing a basic crop/resize of someone else's work), please credit ugli_icons as the creator.
