Paparan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengertian, fungsi, struktur abstrak dan penulisannya dan juga contoh-contoh abstrak. Metode yang digunakan dalam paparan ini adalah metode observasi berupa pencarian sumber-sumber informasi kepustakaan yang dapat berupa pendapat para ahli di bidang penulisan karya ilmiah dan juga informasi yang diambil dari referensi yang berkaitan dengan penulisan abstrak. Speech and Attitude of Fisherman in Tawang, Kendal, Central Java
This study aims to analyze the speech and attitude of fisherman in Tawang, Kendal Regency. Method... more This study aims to analyze the speech and attitude of fisherman in Tawang, Kendal Regency. Methods of the study are participatory interview and descriptive qualitative. The result shows that fishermen in Tawang, Kendal prefer Javanese-the regional language rather than Indonesianthe national language. Their speeches and attitudes represent the Javanese culture. They believe that fishermen should at all times render grace to God. They also believe whether one succeeds or not depends on His will. To be essentially good means to be good not merely for one’s own sake but for the sake of others as well. Pray to the Lord when they are suffering and praise the Lord when they receive His grace. They merely carry out their role like a ‘wayang’-puppet show. A vigilant man will be safe, negligent man will be endangered. One must seek good, as good is required in life. In their daily life, fishermen are simple, honest, open-mind, and self confidence.

This research is acted in Pasar Johar Semarang City because this market as biggest in Central Java and it trader from all village in Indonesia. The respondent in this research is 23 persons and 10 persons selected as informant in-deeply interview. The data collecting is use observation, structured interview, and in-dept interview methods. By the way, data analysis is use triangulation method: quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative method is use descriptive statistic method by single frequency distribution, and qualitative analysis method is use category analysis. This activity is carried out so that the cultural environment of the Bringin community is maintained. However, the existence of this covid makes communication pattern in this tradition slightly changed. This study aims to explain the influence of covid-19 on communication patterns in the Mulud tradition. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with ethnographic studies of communication, to explaining the use of language towards society during covid-19 pandemic. Data were obtained from the book Maulud Al-Barzanji which transcribed and translated for each word to sentences. Data analysis was performed by using agih and padan method by Sudaryanto. The Fox’s theory is used in this research to pars the description pattern and spell structure. Food offerings in Semarang Chinese coastal community rituals are knowledgeable to increase people's awareness of religious consciousness, religious tourism, and culinary culture, especially local language, environmental and cultural identity. The research purpose is to describe various food names and offerings at Chinese ceremonies and ritual activities. It is descriptive qualitative research and refers to the theory of naming systems and meaning as symbols. The research applies observing, collecting, processing, and analyzing data. The research findings describe ritual and cultural ceremonies and celebrations in Semarang Chinatown, such as Chinese New Year, Ceng Beng ritual, festival rebutan, and eating Bakcang celebration. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic which spreadly affected many things including the environme... more The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic which spreadly affected many things including the environment caused many mass media like newspapers to publish the news about it. The purposes of the research are to present the word-formation processes of terms related to COVID-19 and environmental issues found in five articles in The Jakarta Post newspaper. It is descriptive-qualitative research. The word-formation processes were reviewed to describe how the terms related to Covid-19 and the forms of environmental issues. The data collected by the note-taking technique are analyzed morphologically. Results of the research showed that there are some types of word-formation processes such as borrowing, compounding, blending, clipping, acronym, derivation, and multiple processes. These foods may also function to fulfill spiritual manifestation of people that buy and use the food for celebrating festival, feast and ritual tradition. This article aims to explain the naming system, function and the symbol behind the various kinds of food in this market. The data were collected by observing the activity conducted the buyer and the seller . The writer also interviewd some of them to get additional information related to values and norms that make people serve tese foods. The results show that the naming system applied is based on the ingredient, shape and also the way they peoduce the food. One of them is using online learning for students to go to school. However, there are challenges for teachers and students while learning in an online class, such as students who are often absent, students will quickly feel bored, students tend to be passive in the learning process, students do not master the learning material, and much more. It also happens in an English lesson, especially a dialogue activity. This research aims to prove whether using a board game can be effective media to reduce students’ language anxiety level or not during English learning in an online classroom.
