Knowledge and skills in using digital media are important for everyone, regardless of the occupat... more Knowledge and skills in using digital media are important for everyone, regardless of the occupation. One of them is a teacher. The use of various digital media can be useful for teachers in the learning process. Besides being useful for teachers as a means of delivering information, it is also useful for students in training to use digital media in the learning process. This study aims to determine the use of digital media in the learning process by the teacher. This research is a descriptive study using survey methods. The study sample was 112 Indonesian language teachers in West Sumatra. The research instruments used were questionnaires and interview guide sheets. The results of the study show that the media devices used have not been varied, policies that are known about the use of digital media have not been mastered, making many digital media creative content not mastered, the application of data transmission used has varied, and learning resources are still dominant through books. In general, the teacher agrees if the learning process uses online classes by relying on digital media. However, there are many obstacles if the policy is implemented, such as teacher competency, student competence, facilities and infrastructure, and other.

This research is qualitative research. Techniques of data collection using techniques refer and note assisted by data collection tables. Data analysis was performed with a description of perspective analysis of Sara Mills. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that from news of violence against women in the case of rape in media online Metrojambi.com published from August 2016-October 2018, construct women as subject, not as object of exploitation. However, in its presentation, women are still described as marginal, weak, defenseless and sensitive. Metrojambi.com's online media positions the reader as an ideological subject. The reader is brought to the narrator's position so readers accept it as a reality.

This study aims to analyze the suitability of land for durian species for the rehabilitation of the Barito watershed, Artain Village, Aranio District, Banjar Regency. The unit of analysis for the biophysical aspect is the location/soil sample that has been determined. Research variables include land suitability class criteria at the semi-detailed level. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method amounted to 6 samples on a flat slope (0-8%). Ikan rucah merupakan sisa dari hasil tangkapan yang memiliki potensi untuk dijadikan tepung ikan serta memiliki nutrisi dan asam amino essensial yang bagus untuk laju pertumbuhan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aplikasi bioteknologi dalam bidang perikanan dan untuk menemukan upaya pemanfaatan hasil samping perikanan tangkap yaitu ikan rucah. Aplikasi bioteknologi dalam bidang perikanan dapat diwujudkan melalui proses fermentasi pembuatan silase ikan rucah. Silase ikan mengandung protein yang lebih tinggi yaitu 57,49% dibandingkan dengan pakan buatan. Penggunaan bakteri asam laktat 15 - 20 % dengan tambahan karbohidrat 200 gram per 1 kg ikan dirasa efektif dalam proses fermentasi pembuatan silase ikan rucah. This study aims to describe the form of gender discrimination in the novel Perempuan Terpasung by... more This study aims to describe the form of gender discrimination in the novel Perempuan Terpasung by Hani Naqshabandi. Data collection was carried out in three stages (1) reading and understanding the novel Perempuan Terpasung by Hani Naqshabandi with the aim of getting an overall understanding of the contents of the novel to be studied, (2) determining the main character and companion figures in the novel Perempuan Terpasung by Hani Naqshabandi for use tracking gender discrimination data, (3) identifying data relating to the form of gender discrimination obtained from data sources, namely the novel Perempuan Terpasung by Hani Naqshabandi. This type of research is qualitative research and uses content analysis techniques. The results showed that the forms of discrimination experienced by female leaders were seen in aspects of marginalization, subordination, stereotyping, and violence. The most dominant form experienced by female leaders in the novel Perempuan Terpasung is discrimination in the form of stereotypes, namely the assumption that the main task of women is to serve their husbands, their duties and functions are only to carry out work related to domestic or domestic work.

To protect the lives and health of the people, the government has organized various forces to prevent one of them by taking policies in education by implementing distance education. This study will explain the application of distance learning in language learning and teacher evaluation and expectations for improving education in next semester's learning activities. This research is a descriptive study using a survey method. The participants in this study were Indonesian Language teachers at the secondary school level in West Sumatra. The sample of this study were 108 teachers. In this study, questionnaires were distributed to all secondary teachers in West Sumatra through whatsApp media by distributing questionnaire links created using the Google form application. The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire consisting of thirty-six statements. Based on the results and discussion it can be concluded that online distance learning during the COVID-19 pandemic has been carried out in almost all regions of West Sumatra in accordance with government policy. Even though it has been implemented well, but the implementation of this learning still has limitations so it needs to be further improved so that learning can be implemented better.

Data in this study was score of text comprehension skill. The type of this study was quantitative research with correlation design. Study population was students at class VII SMPN 15 Padang that enrolled in academic year of 2016/2017 with sample was amounted to 224 students that dispersed in seven classes. Sampling determination used proportional random sampling technique that obtained 42 students (20% from student population per class). Study fining showed that there was a significant correlation between comprehension and writing skill of description text for student at class VII SMPN 15 Padang with tcount > ttable (10.32 > 1.68). Therefore, to write description text students should be able to understand the description text it self.

This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people. The data of this research is score of skill test result listening the observation report text. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are obtained. First, the skill of writingthe text of the result of observation of the seventh grade students of SMK Negeri 3 Padang is in good qualification (65,56). Second, the skill of listening to the text of the result of observation of the seventh grade students of SMKNegeri 3 Padang is in good qualification (79,44).

The development mode used is 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely define, design, development . This development process produces products in the form of LKS with copy the master technique for expository, valid,and effective expository writing material.The results of this study indicate that the resulting LKS categorized as valid, effective and practical. It is seen based on the value of validity, practicality and effectiveness of LKS. The overall LKS validity score is 77.15%, the average of practicality by teachers is 85% and the student is 83.33%) and effective.Based on the calculation with Likert formulaobtained 85.25% results so that the use of LKS model with copy the master technique on writing material exposition effectively.
