Pada awalnya, Tradisi Panjang Mulud ini menjadi wadah rasa euforia masyarakat akan hadiah yang didapat dari Kerajaan Arab. Tradisi ini memiliki makna keberkahan dan kebersamaan. Namun, saat ini Tradisi Panjang Mulud mengalami perubahan-perubahan dari prosesi hingga simbol-simbol yang diarak. Perubahan-perubahan itu dibuktikan dengan praktik-praktik kekuasaan. Praktik-praktik kebudayaan ini terjadi dengan gejolak politik yang terjadi di Kesultanan Banten Lama. Pergeseran periode dari struktur kepemerintahan mempengaruhi praktik-praktik dalam perealisasian Tradisi Panjang Mulud.

ISIS media which use internet platforms in the form of a magazine called Dabiq Online Magazine. This magazine is designed very professionally in terms of content, design, and marketing or distribution. So that content can make readers "affected". The most message campaigned was the urgency of the Khilafah. This study uses Teun Van Djik's critical discourse method to analyze text, cognition and social context in Dabiq Online Magazine, with a locus on the issue of the Khilafah. The oral tradition of Lawas Pamuji is still inherent in the social life of Sumbawa people. The me... more The oral tradition of Lawas Pamuji is still inherent in the social life of Sumbawa people. The messages that people liken to motives raise public awareness to increase displeasedness. The continuity of using Lawas Pamuji in the midst of the community is expressed by art activists and preachers in anok, and traditional artwork products. Lawas Pamuji which to this day we can still find in people's lives, hope hope in our minds any communication in sumbawa society so that the process is dimmed, experts from the dyed generation. To embrace these things, researchers used Harold Laswell's model of communication theory. As for understanding and processing researchers in unraveling what are the components of communication in Lawas Pamuji, using the theory of oral tradition Albert Lord. The results are found in his research, that the process of communication which direction in the use of Lawas Pamuji in sumbawa people exists so that attitude and increasing knowledge. It is in the operational component of Lawas Pamuji communication in the life of sumbawa people.

ISIS media that use internet platforms in the form of a magazine called Dabiq Online Magazine. This magazine is designed very professionally in terms of content, design, and marketing or distribution. So that content can make readers "affected". The most message campaigned was the urgency of the Khilafah. This study uses Teun Van Djik's critical discourse method to analyze text, cognition and social context in Dabiq Online Magazine, with a locus on the issue of the Khilafah. The result is that when linguistic aspects and related contexts are explained, the pattern is studied to find how ideology is marketed in the text for specific purposes and interests; research shows that the Khilafah discourse voiced by ISIS through Dabiq Online Magazine is not relevant to the Khilafah discourse that voiced in general by Muslims. Even the Khilafah discourse explained by ISIS on Dabiq's media does not explain the meaning of the Khilafah correctly as it is generally accepted and accepted in general terminology in Islam.

Kebiasaan yang turun-temurun dalam suatu masyarakat itu disebut tradisi. 1 Tradisi adalah gambaran sikap dan perilaku, yang telah berproses dalam waktu lama dan dilaksanakan secara turun-temurun dari nenek moyang (Kayam, 1981:93). 2 Tradisi Maulid Nabi adalah sebuah perayaan yang dilakukan dalam rangka memperingati hari kelahiran Nabi Muhammad SAW, sebagai pengejewatahan dan rasa cinta umat kepada Sang Nabi. Tradisi Maulid Nabi banyak dilakukan oleh umat Islam di seluruh dunia. 3 Di Indonesia, perayaan Maulid Nabi dilakukan dengan cara yang berbeda-beda sesuai dengan kultur masyarakat di setiap daerah. Kemudian terjadilah pergulatan antara agama dan tradisi bagi sebagian kalangan umat Islam, perayaan Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW dianggap bid'ah dan menyebabkan bercampurnya unsur-unsur syirik yang dilarang oleh agama. Tulisan ini mencoba mengkaji fenomena Tradisi Maulid Nabi di Banten.
