This research explains the Islamic revelation in the context of the synergy between fiqh and trad... more This research explains the Islamic revelation in the context of the synergy between fiqh and tradition. Using qualitative methods, this research concludes that: first, the pribumization of Islam is the result of the thought of K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) by seeking harmonization between fiqh and tradition. Gus Dur referred to the compromising process of Islamization by the Walisongo in spreading Islam in Nusantara as a very effective instrument or medium in the spreading of Islam. Secondly, in the Islamic Pribumization discourse, Gus Dur used the fiqh methodology of al-'ādah muhakkamah and al-'tsābit bi al-'urf ka al-tsābit bi al-nash, which were seen as capable of paying attention to the needs present in the local culture. The problems that the author discusses are about the beginning of the establishment of pesantren, the existence and controversy of pesantren and the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Institute (LDII), and the contribution of pesantren to the development of society and the government. The author uses a historical research method that starts from the selection of topics, the collection of historical sources, verifying sources, interpretation, and writing of history. This research resulted in the conclusion that the LDII Millennium Alfiena Islamic Boarding School is an Islamic educational institution that was initiated in 1996 by K.H. Seger Afandi Al-Choir. The condition of the Pesantren in 1998 has given rise to the trust of the community and the government to grant permission for establishment. Despite experiencing many obstacles and obstacles, the Alfiena Millennium Islamic Boarding School can develop well and can carry out communication, work, and contributions. It is proven by the contribution of the Alfiena Millennium Islamic Boarding School to LDII residents and the general public. [Penelitian ini membahas sejarah Pesantren LDII Millenium Alfiena. Permasalahan yang penulis bahas ialah mengenai awal mula berdirinya pesantren, eksistensi beserta kontroversi pesantren dan Lembaga Dakwah Islam Indonesia (LDII) dan kontribusi pesantren terhadap perkembangan masyarakat dan pemerintah. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah yang dimulai dari pemilihan topik, pengumpulan sumber sejarah, memverifikasi sumber, interpretasi dan penulisan sejarah. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa Pondok Pesantren LDII Millenium Alfiena merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang dirintis pada tahun 1996 oleh K.H. Seger Afandi Al-Khoir. Kondisi Pesantren pada tahun 1998 telah memunculkan kepercayaan masyarakat dan pemerintah untuk memberikan izin pendirian. Walaupun mengalami banyak hambatan dan rintangan, Pondok Pesantren Millenium Alfiena dapat berkembang dengan baik dan dapat melaksanakan komunikasi, karya dan kontribusi. Terbukti dengan kontribusi Pondok Pesantren Millenium Alfiena terhadap warga LDII dan masyarakat umum.].
