In Malaysia, this programme is known as 'Kafeteria Sihat'. This study aims to validate a newly developed questionnaire to measure food quality, service elements, staff competency, certification, perceived value, eating behaviour, satisfaction and post purchase behaviour in the context of 'Kafeteria Sihat' and identify the underlining factors in each of the dimensions and constructs. Eleven public hospitals in Selangor and Putrajaya, Malaysia were visited for survey purpose. Data were analysed through frequency test, internal reliability and an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) as part of the goodness of measure. Each variable recorded acceptable Cronbach alpha and fulfil the minimum requirements for the EFA thus all variables were retained. A total of 49 items were retained and 8 items were removed due to low loading factors. Validation of the questionnaire will enable a more rigorous analysis mainly to evaluate possible interrelationship amongst each variable.

Although there are comprehensive studies on food banks, the effort to conduct a systematic literature review (SLR) on this particular research issue has been challenging since it fails to include the procedures, making it difficult for scholars to replicate or interpret. This research aims to review the existing studies about food bank distribution efficiency via smart mobility. An SLR using Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines was conducted. The search strategy includes identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion on established online databases, including Web of Science and Scopus. This paper investigates the efficiency of implementing a smart mobility system as one of the foodbank's distribution channels. This paper examined definitions of the food bank and smart mobility and conceptualised food bank distribution efficiency via smart mobility.

Design/methodology/approach-A conceptual model proposed comprises of five latent variables representing healthy cafeteria attributes, perceived value, eating behaviour, satisfaction and post-purchase behaviour. A total of 570 completed questionnaires were collected, and the hypotheses were tested using structural equation modelling. Findings-This study found that eating behaviour and satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between healthy cafeteria attributes and customers' post-purchase behaviour. Meanwhile, customers' perceived value weakly moderates the relationship between healthy cafeteria and eating behaviour. Originality/value-This paper is among the first few which attempt to holistically measure the attributes that influence people to visit healthy cafeterias and the subsequent effect they have towards their post-purchase behaviour. The novelty of this study is portrayed through the inclusion of eating behaviour and the perceived value dimension in healthy foodservice study, which is still minimal compared to commercial foodservice.

Using quantitative approach, self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 400 mobile handlers in Shah Alam Selangor,Malaysia and only 320 questionnaires were collated. Although food handlers may be aware of the need for personal hygiene, they do not understand critical aspects of personal hygiene such cleaning work surface and control food temperature value while cooking. In order to prevent food borne illnesses, mobile food owners need to access and improve operator's knowledge, personal hygiene and the hygiene practices on food safety to consumer.

The survey was administered at 14 restaurants in Shah Alam using structured questionnaires. A total of 350 completed questionnaires were collected and analyzed using descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation. The workers’ knowledge, attitude and practices showed a significant relationship (p < .05) with job competency, while training effectiveness did not seem to have an effect. Although training is one way to impart knowledge to trainees, other methods are needed to ensure foreign workers have some basic knowledge of safe handling of food. This paper is among the first to attempt to measure the attributes that influence foreign workers’ food safety knowledge, attitudes and practices and to examine how these attributes affect job competency in the Malaysian context. Focus on 14 Indian-Muslim and Chinese coffee shop theme eateries are limitations that could be overcome in future research through the inclusion of other themed eateries, different districts through a larger sample population as well as incorporating qualitative approach.

Muslim is the largest group in Malaysia with 61.3% from total population. Thus, having halal products are important in Malaysia. However, halal is not just for the muslim, the process of producing halal product may well benefit non muslim all around the world. These three eras give a big impact towards many organizations in term of crucial strategy development which brings profits and victory. The Outsourcing Revolution book written by Corbett in 2004 expresses that the occurrence of outsourcing is not a new thing and had gone through few revolution and transformation since its introduction.Outsourcing is defined as the procurement of products and services from sources that are external to the organization (Lankford & Parsa, 2009). This allows the outsiders to take responsibilities for some aspects of management of activities in the organization (Winterton, 2000). According to Hoetker (2005), outsourcing has become a vital and complex activity in strategic decision area of organizations throughout the years. Complex organizations are interested to be...

One of the sectors most affected was the food hawkers. Thus, this study measured the food hawker business thriving efforts during the pandemic. Specifically, the study's objectives are to determine the Impact of a movement control order on food hawker businesses' performances and determine the moderating effect of digitalization on food hawker businesses' performances. Two hundred and twenty-two (222) data were collected from food hawkers in Selangor, Kedah, and Terengganu between February and March 2021. At the time, Malaysia was under movement control order (MCO) 2.0. Thus, data were collected online via google form and distributed to businesses through the Whatsapp application. The data were then analyzed using SPSS v24 for descriptive analysis and multiple regression relationships. It was found that there is a relationship between MCO and food hawker business with a standard beta coefficient of 0.836. Digitalization strongly impacts food hawker businesses with a 0.886 standard beta coefficient. Even though food businesses were severely affected during MCO, the digitalization movement impacted sustaining the businesses.

The leaves were picked, cleaned, withered and dried in dehydrator at 54 C for 24 hours (T1), 48 hours (T2) and 72 hours (T3) before they were analyzed. Four types of tea which consist of (i) control tea (C) from the local brand tea, (ii) fresh Sonneratia casolaris leaf that have been dehydrated in for 24 hours (T1), (iii) fresh Sonneratia casolaris leaf that have been dehydrated for 48 hours (T2) and (iv) fresh Sonneratia casolaris leaf that have been dehydrated in dehydrator for 72 hours (T3) were tested for sensory quality and psysicochemical evaluation. Sensory evaluation which include appearance, aroma, color, tea flavor, astringency and overall acceptance were noted with significant difference (p < 0.05) between the samples. Color analysis was also conducted and findings demonstrated that there was significant difference (p < 0.05) between all treatments. Sample (T3) was the most acceptable by consumer due to its better tea flavour than other treatments. Result also revealed the level of brightness (L *) for all four treatments throughout the 9 weeks of storing.
