Thus, values in Islam are essential as those act as a guide for Muslims to be the good believers and capable in forming the better societies. These values are based on the Shariah principles which can be found in the Holy Qur'an, which dominantly enacted as the main reference of foundation for Muslims in present time and the Hereafter. Occasionally, Muslims do not realise that the good things that they do in their daily activities are considered as good values from the Islamic perspective, i.e. Islamic values. The present business environment of the food supply chain, particularly the poultry industry has been chosen in this study due to the fact of highest food consumption of Malaysian in poultry and poultry based products. This study found that research which assessing the Islamic values and halal supply chain has received relatively little attention in the literature. Therefore, this study attempts to fill this void by assessing the Islamic values in the halal supply chain of the poultry industry. By using a qualitative approach, data was collected from in-depth interviews of a case study. The case study of poultry supply chain is focused on the initial stage of supply chain i.e. farm. Therefore, this study found six Islamic values which exist in the halal supply chain.

A breakdown of any of the parties will critically influence the quality of the ultimate project. Subcontracting is becoming more popular in the construction industry because it allows the main contractor to transfer risk to the subcontractor and has a positive impact on specialisation in construction work. The objective of this study is to identify the critical success factors that contribute to a good subcontracting relationship by analysing Malaysian construction projects. A critical literature review was conducted to establish, ascertain and document the fifty-five factors assessing a good subcontracting relationship. The questionnaire survey was distributed via postal, face-to-face and electronic means. One thousand sets of questionnaire surveys were distributed to construction firms who registered under Grade 5, 6 and 7 based on the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia's list of registered contractors. A total of 305 questionnaires were collected and analysed using IBM SPSS software. The data was then analysed using descriptive analysis, frequency analysis and factor analysis. The results confirmed the existence of the factors identified in the literature review, and they also indicated that the factor analysis technique of the 35 factors out of 55 were grouped into 11 underlying factors, which included based on the findings. The study found that having competency (0.650) and good communication (0.638) had a significant influence on a good subcontracting relationship. Lastly, the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) that influence the development of subcontracting relationships must be studied in order to determine the solutions or ways to improve the construction supply chain relationships. In this regard, this study can fill existing research gaps while also serving as a reference in the construction supply chain, especially in the subcontracting management context.

Logistics bridges the gap between the production point and the customer's purchase point, hence this halal product's logistics is highly important to ensure the halal product's integrity at the consumption point. There are several different opinions from Fiqh experts in determining the halal process in manufacturing organic fertilizer. Therefore, the methods of observation, interview, and document analysis are performed to identify the critical point and halal logistics system that could be applied by the company, which produces organic fertilizer. From the result of the research, it can be identified the existence of five critical points in the logistics process for manufacturing the Granular Organic Fertilizer (POG), which are material purchasing, composting, mixing, drying, and distribution. Hence, the halal logistics process covers material purchasing by altering the akad/agreement or naqlul yad, composting using bacillus bacteria, mixing using dolomite, drying with a temperature of ≤100oC, and distribution by employing a salam trading system (bai'assalam).

This research aims to discover the Indonesian people's concern on the purchasing determination for packed meat, in this case, corned beef by using the descriptive analysis method and Partial Least Square (PLS). Three exogenous variables are identified, which are product knowledge variable (X1), product quality (X2), and product attractiveness (X3), and one endogenous variable, which is buying decision variable (Y). It is notified that the biggest factor that influences the buying decision (Y) for corned beef is the product attractiveness variable (X3) with a significance value of 0.687.
