Despite the unique motivation in formulating them, namely based on Syariah law, their movement might link to those of the conventional ones. This paper is devoted to investigating such interactions. It does so by applying two multivariate time series models to estimate various instruments, both Islamic and conventional ones. The models are the VAR (Vector Autoregression) and the VARMA-GARCH (Vector Autoregressive Moving Average-Generalized Autoregressive Heteroskedasticity). From the VAR model it finds evidence of bidirectional influences across both instruments. It also finds a conventional stock index that dominates the other series, namely the DJI (Dow Jones Index). From the VARMA-GARCH model, it finds influences from the conventional to Islamic index and vice versa, both in conditional mean and conditional variances. This paper suggests that the behavior of Islamic instruments are inseparable from the conventional ones. Future research might consider conditional correlations across these variables.

Methodology – There are 140 respondents in this research from 6 big cities in Java, such as Jakarta, Serang, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. This research uses the Partial Least-Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis technique with the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) model. Finding – The findings reveal that attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived zakat institutions affect entrepreneurs' interest in paying zakat. Meanwhile, perceived government support does not affect entrepreneurs to pay zakat.Implications – Zakat institutions need to regularly involve Muslim entrepreneur organizations in zakat management programs so that perceptions about zakat institutions and the role of government in improving zakat management can increase the motivation of entrepren...

Observation used as many as 67 observations and analysis methods used is Auto-Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) with Eviews 9 application. The results obtained from this study are in the short term variables that do not affect Murabahah Financing in Sharia Commercial Banks including CAR, ROA, NPF, BOPO, and Inflation. Meanwhile, Third Party Funds and FDR have a positive relationship and have a significant influence on Murabahah Financing. Then, the BI Rate affects Muraba...

The data for this research are Bank Central Asia (BCA) Syariah, Bank Bukopin Syariah, Bank Mega Syariah, Bank Maybank Syariah, and Bank Muamalat Indonesia in the period 2013-2018. Chow test and Hausman test were carried out to get the best panel model in this study. This study found that ROA and BOPO had a positive effect on liquidity, while CAR and NPF showed a negative effect on liquidity. The implication of this research for bank management is that there is a need for continuous efforts to increase the profitability (ROA) of Islamic commercial banks by distributing financing safely and optimally. In addition, efforts to improve efficiency (BOPO) need to be carried out by formulating a planned and measurable bank operational management program. Bank policies on ROA and BOPO levels will affect th...

This policy causes people to tend to hoard food to anticipate food shortages. In addition, this policy creates empathy among the community to help others because some people have difficulty earning income. This study determines the effect of subjective norms (SN), perceived behavior control (PBC), health awareness (HAW), perceived social support (PSS), and religiosity (RE) on the intention in hoarding food (INHF) and helping people (INHP) during restrictions. The respondents comprised 436 people from 22 provinces in Indonesia. Hypotheses were tested using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis method with Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) software. The results showed that SNHF affected INHF, while PBCHF and PBCHP positively affected the INHF and INHP. Moreover, PSS had a positive impact on the INHP, HAW negatively affected INHF and INHP, while RE does not affect INHF and INHP. Th...

As a result, banks must prioritize meeting client expectations and providing high-quality services to compete. This study aims to examine the factors influencing Muslim students’ intentions to use mobile banking (m-banking) in Islamic banks (IB), conventional banks (CB), and conventional Islamic banks in Indonesia (ICB). The study sample consisted of 315 Muslim students who use m-banking in Islamic banks, 369 Muslim students who use conventional banks, and 207 Muslim students who use conventional Islamic banks. The partial least square (PLS) method was used to evaluate the unified theory of acceptance and the use of technology (UTAUT) on Muslim students’ intention in using m-banking. Based on the value of the coefficient of determinant (R2), the UTAUT model in this study is classified as a moderate m...

Methodology: This study uses analysis tools with the Vector Auto Regression (VAR) method. The VAR method is applied if the data used is stationary and there is no cointegration. If the data used is stationary but there is cointegration, the analytical tool that will be applied is the Vector Correction Model (VECM) method. Findings: There is a causality between interest rates and financing in the agricultural sector. This situation can be interpreted that any increase in interest rates will result in people preferring financing to Islamic banks. Profit sharing and margins do not directly influence the increase in interest rates in conventional banks so that the increase in interest rates is relatively a cheaper cost of financing. Conversely, if there is a decrease in the interest rate on conventional banks, it will make people more likely to choose the financing in conventional banks rather than in Islamic banks Originality: This study enriches the discussion in factors affecting financing with Islamic Banks in agriculture sectors.

Research type subsumes into quantitativ e descriptive using the population of manufacturing companies listed at the Corner of Jakarta Stock Exchange. Analysis tool used relates to Multiple Regression. F-test and t-test examine the significance using SPSS. Results of statistic analysis indicate t hat: simultaneously, independent variable has obvious effect on dependent variable. This becomes evident because F-count > F-table. F-count reaches 47.314 and F-table equals to 2.25. Meanwhile, partial test or t-test shows that current ratio has negative effect on dividend payout ratio. Return on investment and return on equity have positive effect on dividend payout ratio meaning that if ROI and ROE improve, then dividend payout ratio also increase.

Furthermore, monthly Islamic bank data in June 2014 to July 2020 was used. The autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) method was used to determine the short and long-term effects of the independent variables on the financing variable. The results showed that ROA and EFF have a positive effect on MRF but ROA and EFF have a negative effect on MDA and MSF. NPF has a positive effect on MDF, but has a negative effect on MRF. Meanwhile, SIZE has a negative effect on MDF, MDA, MRF, and MRA. The INTR has a negative effect on MDA, MRF, and MRA. The implication of this research is that financialperformance has more influence on debt financing compared to equity financing of Islamic banks in Indonesia.
