RESUMEN En grados como Ingeniería Informática el alumnado tiende a centrarse más en el desarrollo... more RESUMEN En grados como Ingeniería Informática el alumnado tiende a centrarse más en el desarrollo de destrezas técnicas que en destrezas transversales como el trabajo en equipo o la presentación de ideas, quedando muy lejanas las habilidades relacionadas con el emprendimiento y la creación de iniciativas empresariales. Sin embargo, el mercado laboral demanda graduados que también se muevan con soltura en el terreno de la práctica y el diseño, que empaticen con el usuario o consumidor, capaces de trabajar en grupo para implementar su potencial creador. Mejorar estas competencias es el objetivo de esta experiencia docente aplicada en las asignaturas Iniciativa Empresarial, Taller de Ingeniería del Software y Metodologías Ágiles, todas impartidas en 4o curso del Grado de Ingeniería Informática de la Universitat Jaume I de Castellón. El emprendimiento, junto a la innovación, son dos de los valores más demandados por las empresas en la actualidad y por ello las competencias asociadas son potenciadas en los grados con un claro enfoque hacia el emprendimiento. El objetivo es que el alumnado que salga de sus aulas sea capaz de emprender, y no solo en el sentido de crear una empresa, sino que tenga la capacidad de innovar en todas aquellas tareas que su desempeño profesional requiera. Sin embargo, a pesar de la clara necesidad de potenciar el emprendimiento, existen pocos ejemplos prácticos de cómo enseñar esta competencia. Enterprise applications and software systems need to be interoperable in order to achieve seamless business across organisational boundaries and thus achieve virtual networked organisations. In this paper, we briefly introduce some key principles of the MDA approach and the role of ontologies in model transformation approaches. Then, we propose a description of the Model Driven Development (MDD) Interoperability Framework. The last part presents a way of applying the MDA techniques to Urban Civil Engineering projects, with the objective of testing the feasibility and relevancy of the approach to this domain.

A critical issue is the way of managing data, information and knowledge: data most of the time structured according to data models, often using proprietary formats, leading to consistency problems for the exchanges. The use of international standards is a good way of improving quality of the information systems used in production management, since they facilitate interoperability of the software tools used. A virtual enterprise is a new organisational p aradigm w hich requires novel technological approa... more A virtual enterprise is a new organisational p aradigm w hich requires novel technological approaches to managing data, information and knowledge in an efficient way. Knowledge management systems have been adopted as a solution to deal with enterprise systems which generate a huge amount of data, and also need to manage information in an appropriate manner and to share knowledge for decision-making. However, these systems are even more essential in the context of virtual enterprises, where business success is based on interoperability achieved by means of ICT, and therefore there is a need for a common conceptual framework that enables partners in the virtual enterprise to share data, information, and knowledge. T hus, the implementation of this kind of technologies in virtual enterprises demands new, more specific requirements. In this paper, we propose a conceptual framework that introduces the concept of target knowledge as a first step for implementing efficient knowledge management systems, and for further knowledge representation in the c ontext of v irtual enterprises. Finally, a classification of target knowledge defined taking into account several enterprise dimensions is provided.

The new economy and business needs lead enterprises to be interoperable in order to be competitiv... more The new economy and business needs lead enterprises to be interoperable in order to be competitive and sustain new market opportunities that will result from cooperation with other enterprises. Easy ways to establish business with customers and suppliers or other enterprises are needed. Within this framework various studies on how to establish interoperability among specific enterprises, supply chains and virtual enterprises, or for specific sectors, have been successfully conducted and applied. The methodological proposal described in this paper will lead enterprises to achieve an advantage situation regarding their maturity level of interoperability. It supports enterprises to be prepared to interoperate, and this aspect can be a key issue for other enterprises to select them in new businesses or new collaborative projects.
