We're pleased to announce the latest investment from the Amadeus APEX Technology Fund in the €8.6M pre-seed funding round of GEMESYS . The AI hardware startup is pioneering next-generation AI chips that enable highly efficient neural network processing. The funding round was led by the Amadeus APEX Technology Fund together with Atlantic Labs. Participation came from NRW.BANK, Sony Innovation Fund, and Silicon Valley-based Plug and Play Tech Center as well as grant funding from the German government. With this new funding, GEMESYS will accelerate research and development and expand its team to further advance its novel chip architecture. Nu Quantum partners with CERN, adopting its White Rabbit technology to create highly synchronised, data centre-scale quantum computing networks. There's no hats involved in this trick 🪄 The team at Nu Quantum will be working on the first ever Quantum Networking Unit (QNU), integrating CERN's White Rabbit (WR) timing technology to enable data centre-scale quantum networks. Nu Quantum is the first quantum industrial partner to join the QR Collaboration. The team previewed the QNU at the National Quantum Technology Showcase yesterday in London, with full system delivery targeted for March 2025.
