We need an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet.
About us
B Corps are accelerating a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. B Corp Certification is the only certification that measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance. Certified B Corporations achieve a minimum verified score on the B Impact Assessment, proving their business is meeting the highest standards of verified performance. B Corp Certification doesn’t just prove where a company excels now—it commits them to consider stakeholder impact for the long term by building it into a company’s legal structure. The B Impact Assessment evaluates a company’s operations and business model impact on their workers, community, environment, and customers. Certified B Corporations make their B Impact Report transparent on bcorporation.uk Let's turn ideas into action. Join us for the largest-ever gathering of UK B Corps at Louder Than Words — The B Corp Festival. https://festival.bcorporation.uk/

We’re feeling nostalgic looking back at Louder Than Words—the B Corp Festival that brought us together to connect, challenge one another and take action on what matters most. It was much more than a two-day gathering: it was a reminder of the power we hold when we come together for something greater than profit. Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared stories, and sparked action. Together, we’re Louder Than Words. Check out the festival highlights. 📽️ Keep in touch with us and stay informed about any future events. 👉 https://bit.ly/4fHbEdm - With COP29 in full swing, the spotlight is on how businesses can step up to meet global climate goals and address the sustainability challenges that lie ahead. 🌎 While governments make slow progress, many consumers are looking to businesses for meaningful change. But how can companies embrace their role in creating a sustainable future while still navigating a consumer-driven economy? B Corps like Ben & Jerry's, COOK Trading Ltd and Little Moons demonstrate what’s possible when businesses take purpose-led action. Each of these brands is making strides in sustainability—reducing emissions, minimising waste, and prioritising responsible sourcing—showing that purpose and profit can go hand in hand. - “As we look to the Budget, it’s time for Labour to make bold and transformative changes to the economy. An essential starting point is reform of company law to enable good businesses to become the norm, not the exception.” Ahead of Labour’s first budget in over 14 years, chair of the business & trade select committee, Rt Hon Liam Byrne MP outlines the case for a new ‘civic capitalism’ that addresses the short-termism in our boardrooms. “To create real change, boards must take a more holistic view of success which requires advancing a new model for marketplace success. Proposed legislation like the Better Business Act could be fundamental in achieving this by updating Section 172 of the Companies Act 2006 to ensure all businesses align the interests of people and the planet with profit.” 👏 Read Liam’s piece in PoliticsHome here: https://lnkd.in/eNJDDhy2
