They will help you with IT and Cyber but they will never be responsible for your data and cyber security - you will always be. We looked at what the Information Commissioner's Office said when it fined companies .. and they said things like ... - Train your people in Cyber Security - Get #CyberEssentials and #CyberAssurance- Monitor your IT systems and be ready to Detect attacks and remediate them Going through Cyber Essentials and Cyber Assurance ( the UK Government recommended certifications ) is PART of the solution. Getting #CyberInsurance is part of the solution.#Leadership from the Board of Directors, People training, the correct processes and the right technology are also part of the solution.
