I am very grateful and honoured to be named as one of the 100 Most Influential Event Technology Professionals and the 50 Most Influential People in the Events Industry in the UK for 2024 at the #Eventex awards! 🎉 There are so many great people in the list but there even more amazing professionals who were not included. I started my journey in the industry being a student and it was by accident, as I had no awareness that such an industry existed. Once I got started I could not leave. For me, this award is a recognition of all the effort I have put into creating a product that helps thousands to connect and do business. At the same time, I feel that I am on a mission to improve the day to day life for the working parents on our team, because I know very well how challenging it is to balance professional development and family life. I strongly believe that we should not be forced to choose. We should be allowed to have both in a balance that makes both sides stronger! The events industry is one of the most exciting. It is an industry where you see the results of your day to day work almost immediately, an industry that makes a huge impact to every other industry and pushes business and innovation forward.
