We've recently had some really heart-warming news! Little Bridge was chosen as runner-up in the Global Edtech Awards 2024. This competition, now in its second year, aims ‘to put the hard work of the very best educators and EdTech providers into the spotlight’. Fairness and equity (one of my obsessions!) are at the core of the awards, demonstrated by the policy of providing its judges (also global) with anonymised submissions to remove any bias during the judging process. What’s more, all entrants are provided with positive and constructive feedback from the category judges, regardless of whether they win or not. We were really happy to learn that the judges recognised that our ‘combination of technology and best practices in education has enabled the company to contribute a lot on the global stage in English language learning’. As Mark Anderson FCCT (@ICTEvangilist) , one of the founders of The Global EdTech Awards, commented: “I’m delighted for all of our winners and runners-up in the Global EdTech Awards 2024. Our policy of anonymising the entries for the judges meant that they had to assess them entirely on their merits, rather according to any expectations they may have had from seeing the entrants’ names or brand identities. We believe that this places all of our entrants on a level playing field, where their achievements do the talking.” The winner in our category (‘Best Edtech Company More than 3 years old’) was Stride, Inc.Huge congratulations to this awesome company from the US! #education #edtech #innovation #global
