We're proud to share that our sister company, Bioscope Technologies, has been featured in The Economist. 📰 Their groundbreaking bioleaching technology uses bacteria to recover precious metals like gold and copper from e-waste, leading the way for IT sustainable recycling with a minimised environmental impact. We’re excited to announce our campaign for International E-Waste Day – “Join the Urban Mine Hunt!" At n2s, we lead efforts against E-waste in the UK —recycling IT sustainably and securely and pioneering innovation in precious metal extraction from E-waste. Our goal is to raise awareness about the vital need for responsible and formal E-waste management. Launched by the WEEE Forum, International E-waste Day highlights the need to combat the global E-waste crisis. According to the UN’s Global E-Waste Monitor, a staggering 62 billion kg of E-waste was generated in 2022 alone! 🎉🏆 Congratulations to our "Guess the Length of the Copper Wire" competition winner Carl Sproston at BT's Secure Tomorrow event! 🎉🏆 Carl’s estimate came within an impressive 37cm of the actual length of 4838cm an impressive feat! n2s were delighted to be invited to present at Microsoft's Channel Partner day and get the opportunity to showcase our Surface Take Back program that we have developed in partnership with Microsoft UK. As an enablement partner for sustainability in the UK, n2s showed Microsoft Surface partners how best to trade in their client’s devices at the end of their lifecycle & touch on the importance of circular economy for our future. At n2s, we are skilled in breathing new life into client’s devices for remarketing or ensuring sustainable recycling by carefully breaking down components for full reclamation of all metals. It was great to talk to discuss how this circular business model empowers partners not only to enhance their eco-credentials with their client’s CIOs and IT Directors, but also to unlock commercial advantages—by maximising the highest residual values.
