BIC’s Books Across Borders project has recently published its latest project deliverables. Project members appreciate how important #export #sales are in our industry. Understanding the terminology, the paperwork and #buyer and #seller obligations all take time. - BIC has summarised the key paperwork needed for the efficient movement of books around the international supply chain. - We have also captured key #stakeholder roles and responsibilities and explained why #INCOTERMS are an important way of determining supply chain risk. The information is available on the BIC website, together with: - Visuals showing how physical products and #metadata flow between different organisation types. - A summary of how product metadata is critical to successful #internationaltrade- An explanation of HS and #commoditycodes and why the careless use of these can cause delays to shipments as well as result in additional paperwork and unforeseen costs.https://lnkd.in/efGS423ALook out for further updates in the next few weeks.
