With our members, we transform the world’s jewellery & watch supply chains to be ever more sustainable.
About us
United by a shared belief that responsible business is good business, we work together with our members and partners to create a globally sustainable future for our industry. Founded in 2005, we are the world’s leading standard-setting organisation for the jewellery and watch industry and global supply chain. We also have an important role to play as the voice for the industry on its most critical Environmental, Social and Government (ESG) issues, and accelerate collective progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Agenda 2030. RJC Code of Practices (COP) is the global standard for the responsible jewellery and watch industry, focusing on business ethics and responsible supply chains. Our COP covers all the primary minerals and metals used in the manufacture of jewellery: gold, silver, platinum group metals, diamonds and coloured gemstones. Our robust certification process is independently audited and ISEAL accredited, upholding the highest standards.

- 📢 Member Resources: To support members with claims related to #G7 import restrictions, the #RJC has developed a supplementary guidance on provenance claims. The guidance is designed to help members with operations in G7 countries by providing an option to include provenance claims on their certificates if they so choose. For members with operations outside G7 countries, such claims continue to be treated as mandatary provenance claims. It also ensures that members in G7 countries are not disadvantaged in situations where such claims are required by customers.
