The UK Government’s new AI Growth Blueprint lays out an ambitious plan to position the UK as a global AI leader. With AI Growth Zones and an investment in infrastructure, including a UK-based supercomputer, the country is making major strides towards a more innovative and balanced economy. What stands out to me are the plans to boost diversity in AI—especially the goal of increasing the representation of women, who currently make up just 22% of the workforce in this sector. This is something we’re passionate about at Rockborne, and it aligns with our mission to foster diverse talent pipelines that reflect the potential AI has to transform industries. Equally important is the commitment to education, aiming to upskill tens of thousands of people in AI over the next five years.
