Shimmr is 'advertising on autopilot' that sells books. All you need to do is supply the book, and Shimmr’s fully automated platform creates, deploys, and self-optimizes an advertising campaign for the title that drives discoverability and sales. All completely hands free - Shimmr takes care of everything, end to end. Here's how it works: The Analyzer takes in all of the text in the book and creates it's completely unique BookDNA. This is essentially the strategy for selling the book. The Generator uses the BookDNA to bring the book to life with AI-generated ads that continuously self-optimize. The Deployer automatically places the ads in digital media and finds all potential readers by matching them with the BookDNA. Interested purchasers are driven straight to the book’s e-commerce locations to buy the book. "Are my books safe?" Yes! Books are never used to train AI, so there are no copyright issues to worry about.

- We're wrapping up an incredible week at the Sharjah International Book Fair | معرض الشارقة الدولي للكتاب and the Sharjah Publishers Conference, and still with more to come from the World Intellectual Property Organisation conference in Sharjah! 📚✨ The presence at the Sharjah International Book Fair of both Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Bodour Al Qasimi at the fair was a wonderful underlining of their commitment to literature’s role in advancing humanity and creating a peaceful, compassionate society. The Fair’s spectacular opening ceremony marked the completion of Sheikh Al Qasimi’s life-long project to produce a dictionary of the Arabic language, the final volume of which was signed at the ceremony. At the Publishers Conference our Chief Revenue Officer Brooke Dobson delivered a compelling presentation on ‘AI for Book Discoverability and Marketing’. In addition to Brooke’s packed-out presentations and meetings with publishers at both the Conference and the Fair, Nadim was donning both his CEO and Author hats; signing copies of his books, appearing in panel discussions and round tables; speaking to local radio about AI, publishing, and Shimmr; whilst also ensuring an element of adventure outside of fair hours by virtue of a motorbike! The energy and curiosity from everyone we’ve met in Sharjah - publishers, dignitaries, media, technologists, students - about where technology meets storytelling, was truly inspiring. One thing stands out: the future of publishing will continue to incorporate innovative technology, but remain deeply human. - Nadim and Brooke from our team are enjoying a productive week at the Sharjah International Book Fair, connecting with publishers from across the globe. Every year we’re reminded how the international publishing community at SIBF creates such valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration. Brooke’s roundtable on ‘AI for Book Discoverability and Marketing’ was incredibly well-attended; part of a noticeable shift in the industry from questioning AI's role at all, to focusing on its practical implementation and evidence of its benefits. Thank you to all who joined the discussion and shared their points of view and experience. Emma House brought together a fantastic and diverse group of publishing professionals, creating meaningful dialogue across Publishing’s mix of perspectives, markets and sectors. The cultural exchange and connections made at #SIBF2024 have once again reinforced the value of in-person industry events, and we were honoured to take part. Thank you to both Emma and Markus Dohle for their continued support in growing Shimmr's presence in the global publishing community.
