The attendees rolled up their sleeves for a cocktail-making masterclass and then went on to karaoke, where renditions of everything from Britney Spears to Bon Jovi were performed. We recently welcomed our charity partner, Hestia and a group of women from their domestic abuse services to our offices. Pictured are some of our employees and Hestia staff who held a speed networking session with the attendees so they could gain insight into the world of work, learn about working in an office environment and understand the different roles in the insurance industry. It was a lively event with lots of great advice and guidance shared to help the women explore their ambitions. These sessions form part of the Hestia Charity's Economic Empowerment and Security Programme which aims to assist survivors of abuse by building financial literacy, employability skills, and confidence as well as breaking isolation and barriers to inclusion in their local community.
