Over the past year, we've been celebrating BBSRC's 30th birthday 🎂 So what do we have to show for three decades of supporting British bioscience? - We've witnessed world firsts - like Dolly the sheep, the first clone of an adult mammal - We've nurtured technologies that went on to change the world, like Illumina sequencing - We've taken on global health challenges, from BSE and Covid-19 to antimicrobial resistance and malaria - We've brought great minds together through our national capabilities and institutes - We've helped bolster food security against challenges like climate change and population growth - We've leveraged private investment to grow UK bioscience and helped innovative ideas reach their commercial potential And that's just a taster! A huge thanks goes to our staff and communities for making these success stories happen. Read more highlights from the last three decades in our Impact Showcase 2025: 30th Anniversary special. ▶️ https://lnkd.in/d_JEiQQa -
