Warehouse Visit number 7️⃣1️⃣ of 8️⃣0️⃣ completed ✅️Wincanton has over 16 million sq ft of warehousing across the UK 🇬🇧 They took on a brand new site at Bellshill 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 this summer ☀️ and it's already filling up 📈 with cross-dock operations 🔁 for blue-chip clients🎖 There are 11,000 racked pallet locations as well as 50,000sq ft of block-stack storage space. Considering that Wincanton employ around 200 people in North Lanarkshire, it was brilliant to meet Yvonne Weir and her colleagues Andrew and Louise from the local council 😊 Thank you to Lindsay Ashton, Mike Watkins, Derek Stirling, Hannah Openshaw, Nicola Martin and all the team for such a wonderful visit.

Yesterday, we welcomed Loughborough University, Business Disability Forum, National Highways' Digital Lab, d2en and colleagues from across our transport department to our Innovation Centre as we explored neurodiversity amongst road users. Professors at the university and experts from National Highways are working on gathering vital information and as a leading supply chain partner to British business, our skilled drivers and transport teams were invited to share data and insight to inform this important research within our industry.
