Parks And Recreation: 13 Times Andy Dwyer Was The Funniest Character (original) (raw)
Andy Dwyer is perhaps one of the most funniest characters on television - he was certainly one of the best on Parks and Recreation. Played by none other than Chris Pratt (who’s now a mega movie star because of this role) Andy came into the show as Ann Perkins’ (Rashida Jones) goofy, unemployed, slacker boyfriend who ends up living in a hole. He evolves into a loveable character who becomes a huge part of the show, and a hilarious one at that. Andy turns his life around by getting a job as a shoe shiner in Pawenee City Hall, marries April Ludgate (Aubrey Plaza) and later promoted to Leslie Knope’s (Amy Poehler) assistant. Here’s Andy Dwyer’s finest moments on the show.
1. When he just couldn’t handle all the mean people in the world.
2. When he answered a very important question.
3. When he monkeyed around like no-one was watching.
4. When he momentarily got excited about seeing a flying goose in Central London.
5. When he wasn’t afraid to admit his mistakes.
6. When he failed to understand catchphrases.
7. When he just couldn’t figure out how a hammer works.
8. When he got his priorities straight.
9. When the irony of this situation showed just how stupid he is.
10. When he revealed too many of his secrets.
11. When he learnt life lessons the hard way.
12. When he couldn’t wrap his head around how emotions work.
13. And finally, when he showed us how much he knows about his country.
We love you Andy Dwyer.
